No thanks. We have had too many years of soft forwards.

Imo Napa won QLD the 2017 series.
Nsw dominated game 1 in the forwards.
Game 2 napa came in and absolutely dominated the middle and did it again in game 3.

He also was killing it last yr until the boys started signing with us

Id love him here, massive unit and will definitely give us a fear factor prop that we need

The bloke couldn't put fear in a fly. Someone tells him to shape up and he ships out.

Napa is a very good player. If he's not happy where he is, a change of scenery could see him flourish. He's definitely worth looking at...

Apparently Campbell-gillard wants out of the Panthers. He's another one we should be looking at!

at the right price yes. Would add more depth in forwards and ensure we have plenty enough competition for spots which can only be good for us!

He’s got it in him to be a great forward. I would be offering a year take it or leave it

Agreed. The guy will put in a monster game or 2 year a year and then go missing in the bigger games.

Good to see a different POV on this.

You don’t think he will team up with the boys (ex roosters) and get up to mischief and be a distraction to the rest of the team?

Definitely goes missing at times but when he is hot he is very hot, maybe we could manage him better than he has been, not sure about CG he has been good but what is going on at Penrith and he has seemed happy and a bit of a face of the club.
Are we maybe being used to up the price, money to spend etc.
Both players could have a long term successful career at respective clubs with aging props in team long term 1st grade careers beckon, chance to be number one prop, not sure if we do or don't want, that's me over on the side line watching the show

Signing both Campbell-Gillard and Napa would be investing way too much money into the front row position IMO.

Those guys won’t come cheap, especially Campbell-Gillard with his emergence now. We’re already paying Ese’ese decent coin. Not sure how good of a deal we got on the Saifiti twins when we re-signed them (particularly Daniel), but you’ve only got so much money to spend.

The money from Lillyman and Heighington combined likely wouldn’t even pay for one of Campbell-Gillard or Napa.

We'll have more money once Hodkinsons contact is over and since we were struggling to fill the cap before round 1, i assume there's still room in our cap for another "big'iish" signing

Reported by Toohey that we have roughly 1mil in our cap for this yr, the cap goes up again next yr also, plus hodko would be taking 350k and Uate 200k.
    So for me,
If we could get either of them for 500k or less each?? Then jump on it.
