His form has been well below his best, i would still have him in my team over heighton.
Also v Panthers in 2015.
Honestly cant see cogger doing any better than lamb, i hope im wrong though. If a change in 6 was what browny wanted i would of been more inclined to put a bloke there that can defend ala buhrer and just let ponga play 6 in attack
If Dsaf is dropped because of form I believe it's another example of Brown sending the rest of the team mixed messages. Dsaf was great against the Broncos and didn't get many minutes Friday. Barnett by his own admission is yet to hit form. He was given a start in round 1 based on last years form and if Dsaf deserves to be dropped in Brown's opinion then so should Barnett but we know that shan't be happening.
Reckon there might be changes in at least the 17.
Maybe the difference between Daniel and Barnett is aggression not stats Barnett plays with plenty of it and Daniel could use a bit more maybe...
It's not form being punished but effort. Barnett gives 110% even if he's going like a busted. Sione been our worst player this year but you can't question his commitment.
I don't think dsaf got off the bus last week attitude wise.
I think with Daniel and Jacob they young struggling to maintain their best week in week out think Brownie is trying to manage that so they are at their best more often
So you have given Cogger the "see you later" call, what if he nails it and we win next few games or at least perform well, you are so bias, at least wait and see what happens.
Can't believe that Dan is not in 17 and not named in reserves, can that change or is one of the 17 not to play.
The general consensus on here was for Dan and Jacob to be given start, Lamb to be dropped but replaced with Buhrer, not happy with Sione but not sure about replacement, if Buhrer not 6 then he or Levi to go. ITS NOT HAPPENING are we so wrong or is the coach or do none of us know anything.
D.Saf is the future, he’s young and you need more than talent to be great, it’s a mental game just as much physical. A week off will be good for him.
Then why name him at 18, will he play if a prop is out, that's not resting him, if needed give him time off, rest, come watch game, back to training Monday and see where you will be next week.
Jacob has so much more hunger coming off the bench as opposed to Daniel. Good choice to let him off for a week.
I feel for Lamb, but I honestly feel Cogger will grab this with both hands. I'm expecting him to ride it out until Watson is fit.
When your front rowers make 30 and 27 metres respectively you know you’re gonna be in for a rough day. If this isn’t the rocket up the butt that Daniel needs than I don’t know what is.
More is expected of Dan though. His numbers might not be the worst in the squad, but he's still well below the standard he plays at his best.
Dan is already in the bad books with Brown because of his off field commitment. Brown has mentioned this multiple times. Probably to do with diet, recovery, preparation, stuff like that. Also probably why Dan didn't win the player of the year award. Brown would not be happy with him at all especially after last game.
Short of man of the match he goes. Watson was going very strong and isn't odd to the Dogs next year.
And me biased I wasn't the one death riding watson unlike most hear praying he'd stuff up so the local could get in
Let's wait and see Scaleybugs.
Cogger in is an attempt by Browny to fix the No. 1 problem in the side. Hopefully young Jack will have a whale of a game and complement Pearce's style of play. He has waited a long time for this second chance and the opportunity to play with Pearce.
