He probably thought we were the "home" team on the scoreboard.
He was still outplayed by over half the forward pack too. He's slowly getting there, throw in some of the second phase play and general playmaking skills we love him for and he'll be on the board for MSKOTW points in no time.
I imagine he got a word in his ear to give the penalty. Maybe from video ref watching a replay?
The eggs in 1 basket comment is saying when you run with one playmaker and your 5/8th is there to run the ball only, if that playmaker gets injured your in big trouble. All eggs in one basket. I was a little downhearted last night with Pearce getting injured.
If SKD didn't take the kick to win it for us would it have been a butchered try ?
With the fact he did catch it and score you have to say yes
I meant that if Buhrer sent it through the hands it was a certain try IMO.
Same. Feel so gutted for him/us
Any news yet on Mitchell?? I’m unrealistically hoping it’s not as bad as everyone thought and could be back in 2 weeks!
Wtf does it matter?
We scored and won.
Scans to come in tomorrow or the next.
Of course it's happy days. I reckon it might get a mention at the video session though.
Really? Only if it was the Storm, Broncs or Cowgirls. The rest don't count Beaumont!
Its been confirmed by knights they are saying 16 weeks... no finals for us **** nrl is tough.
Gonna be between us and canberra for the spoon unfortunately...
No top 8 now. At least we won’t get spoon
Pearce will be a big loss, but Cogger and Lamb are both very handy back ups. Got to have faith they can step up and do their jobs...
Everyone wrote the Cows off last year when they lost Thurston. Same as Penrith when they lost Cleary.
At least with Lamb to take over at halfback, he will have Mitchell in the background with nothing else to do but pass on his skills.
I can't see Cogger and Watson working out as a partnership, we need a dedicated, organising 7.
This post is so Nickwpearce
Im sure im not the only one on here with that opinion, no reason to think we can make the 8 without pearce, he does EVERYTHING for us... Lamb wont fill his shoes, nor will cogger its stupid to think we will be competitive...
Watch Pearce off the ball in our matches, he is in everything... absolutely everything!
Tough tough period coming up, think we can beat manly as they have off field issues!
Back to home after that and its where we really need lamb to step up...
Cogger and watson dont give us a long kicking game... lamb has to come back...
It's stupid to think we won't be competitive.
Here you were thinking we deserved to lose last night and for Ponga to be dropped so it's fair to say you're on the special end of the pessimism scale.
