Just on NRL.com and they have the vote for the team of the week page via Twitter. Four candidates for each position. Ponga, Sione, Pearce, Ese Ese and Griffin all make the voting. Interesting to see Sione get that recognition. I unfortunately missed the game so don’t know how he went. Looked ok in highlights.

    Griffin had a great game.
Him and Levi both tackled everything that moved.
After 1 game I see Levi has 96.7% tackle efficiency and Griffin is our second best with 91.5% tackle efficiency. Levi made 29 tackles and Griffin 36.

I think Griffin had his best game yet. His defence is like Bedsy and Kidley's - you don't take much notice, but they shut down everything that moves.

I think it’s been a good wake up call for Lamb. Good for us also, as in he’s been grounded.

Poaching clubs will have their reservations to pay to much also.

Boys Sione is not being kept. Hopefully you will let go of Bennett's pawn than.

Or you can keep waiting for the potential while getting plod.

I just voted for KP in the NRL.com team of the week. He is leading 68% with the next best at about 11% or so.

Is there a better try scoring second rower in the game at the moment? 8 tries in last 10 games.

Fitzgibbon's improvement is astonishing. I readily admit I seen nothing other than NIB in him. Along with an impressive change in physique came a more than impressive improvement in his game. Now before everyone says he always had it my comment is based on what I saw.

Yep, and happy to say I was very fiery in the preseason insisting he'd be among the first pick whilst 80% were calling for him to kick off in NSW cup.

Fitz finishing his uni degree just before the last preseason finished is probably the key to his improvement.
You can't do a serious Uni degree that takes 50 or 60 hours of your time a week, and train to be a firstgrade footballer which also takes 50 or 60 hours of your time a week, and do them both properly.
He did his final placement for his degree during the first part of preseason last season, and you can nearly track his improvement from the day he finished that.

Depends who was watching the game, some of the judges have their eyes painted on.
