Someone, someone please convince me that Barnett is more than a reggies player, bench at best.

It's not a personal comment. If I knew you and you were drunk maybe. It's more a "you need glasses" type comment. Anyhow if you took it personally then I apologise.

Great way to end a season Newcastle, you bunch of spankers. Over the second half fade-outs, they’re a pain in the arse. Ponga and Fitzgibbon would’ve made a huge difference today. King is awful as per usual, Barnett and Levi were frustrating.

Pretty ordinary game to many errors effort was there just don't have the strike power without ponga and Watson. Starting forwards were huge big dan 229m and some good offloads and hitting hard in d , herman 159m. Put moga, ramien , Watson , fitzy and ponga in that side we have plenty of strike power. Add j safiti and glasby and hopefully a couple of good forwards and were set.

I didn't think Barnett was that bad to be honest. He seems to be the in vogue whipping boy.

Barnett woeful. Dunno how many times I spotted him behind the line sucking in the big ones when Guerra is taking a hit up time after time. If your not fit enough your not good enough. That Pearce "brushed" knock on was an absolute joke. Clearly off the knees so try time all day. They give that we win.

Herman got a fair knock early but played great. Although I want to see more forward and less skip from him. D saf huge and we need more numbers around Pearce when he goes. Anyway scrappy football from both teams and I don't see the dragons making any sort of dent in the finals.

He hit them alright. I’m sad we’re losing him he’s been really good for us.

After being there today anyone that says that Danny Levi is anywhere near the class of Griffin in any aspect of the game has rocks in his head .
People carry on about his passing game from the ruck being quicker personally I don't see that at all and when Griffin passes it is in front of the player and on his chest .
Half the passes Danny made the 1/2 or player he is passing to has to stop to take it , it is behind them a lot of the time.
Last season I was a Danny fan this season not so much ...If Griffin is fit Danny should stay in reserves he was rubbish today ...

Levi has had a couple of shockers no doubt but he’s had some positive signs too.

As Beaumont said his defence has improved massively. In regards to attack errors have crept into his game but there’s been a lot of good to go with the bad.

Overall I think he’s broken even this season after starting in reggies. He’ll need a big off season though.

You guys down here are spoiled. Yep they lost, but we had a great arvo & it was an enjoyable game to watch (except for the shrieking ***** going for the dragons that sounded like a witch and wouldn’t shut up). Can’t wait to make the trip next year now.
What I saw of Tom Starling in defence was good too, he pulled a few big lads up. I’d like to see more of him and Levi combining next year.
