3 IN A ROW. Fantastic game from the boys. Kept turning up in both attack and defence. How good!
Lamb and Hodko have been good ever since the forwards have been aiming up and doing their job.
It just goes to prove, yet again, that halves can't look good behind forwards that are getting smashed.
You're talking about a game where he missed 10 tackles where the opposition was intent on offloads and his opposing players were both internationals. I don't know what you're always grinding your axe over but it's awfully sharp. If it bothers you so much pull up some stats that show he's any worse than some other second rowers, even international ones. Won't matter, still won't give a ****.
I love the way Lamb plays. He's a big five eighth with a solid and deceptive running style, with the right players around him he'll be an absolute star.
I can't believe I really rate Josh King now. I doubted him way too soon
Very under rated player IMO. I feel like he doesn't get mentioned as much as he should...
Yeah we are starting to get a decent prop rotation esse is going to help and a few more would be nice
Dan safiti average 147.6 m a game last 6 games
Jacob safiti 119.2m a game last 5
Josh King 108.5m a game last 4
King was defending well but doing absolutely nothing with the ball. He's not only upped his work rate running the ball but improved the quality on his runs as well. And it was all in the space of a week. Bizarre but we'll take it.
He was absolutely brilliant in the second half making some big runs through the middle.
Yeah I think he has really stood up since he belted korbin twice in the game a few weeks ago
Big test for our pack next week against Melbourne... Knights 19-18 4 IN A ROW
Think you need to watch the 2nd half again. King was awesome with the ball.
The improvement I'm referring to came between the Broncos and Roosters games.
Josh King has improved heaps. Happy to see too.
Great team effort from the boys. They aren't the most talented bunch but the play for each other and the jersey. The best thing Brown has done is weed out the blokes who didn't want to stick around for the tough times or were in it for the money. With some new recruits i really think this team could be special in the next few years
NRL.com has us up to 15th with the same for and against (-162) as Wests. Wests have to play Manly, who should be able to put a good score on them.
King has been good all year.
He just took a while to get used to the pace of firstgrade, like all rookies.
Absolutely Tubs, I find it hard to be critical of any of Brown's culling's.
King ran 130 odd meters and made 29 tackles. Pretty good effort.
I think King, like a lot of guys, was played regularly before he was ready (his lack of ability to train full-time etc. is well known). But Brown seems to have let the kids learn the hard way and has backed them to show him what he knew was there. Our depth next year should be like we haven't seen in 20 years.
