16 and 17 will be two new players.
Though as it stands atm thats pretty close to my version of rd1 2018
If king can keep up his form from the last two games I would keep him starting with D safiti, then have esse and j safiti come on and tear them a new one
No chance, Ese'ese is a must starter in the current rotation.
It's a big if that he can keep up that form for the rest of the year but if does that's they way I would go.
Would seem a waste to spend 400k a yr on a new starting prop to just keep using one of the current props we've been wanting a new prop to replace.
Dunno what King has been on last two weeks but I want some.
Same here. Went from go play in the real NRL to very solid virtually overnight.
My back five also. Sione has played wing Ethan that is where he made his start. Or do you mean never again to play wing?
Depends 88 on if Brownie is interested in a full time rake or plans to make do with Buhrer. If Sione has any sort of a kicking game trial him at 5/8.
For mine Josh King is starting to show the benefit of full time training this year. Last year he was a part time trainer due to his apprenticeship commitments.
he got 1 good hit on Sims in the opening 25 seconds of a match and his confidence took off from there.
King showed good signs in his first few games last year too, then the drops started to come in. I've always thought he carts the ball solid for a smaller guy but the metres weren't there, so good to see him start to get back to his first glimpses in first-grade.
First contact is a mixed lottery, sometimes you just want to clip them abit so they change their line to take the heat off their run, also if they step away from weaker defenders they can be herded into our stronger defenders.
King is progressing like a 21/22 year old prop usually does. He isn't a Dan Saifiti, but you see 1 or 2 props a year across the NRL who have the potential of Dan and Jake, and if that is the standard we set from now on, we are in for a lot of disappointment.
I like the way Brownie is putting together a side that will challenge next year or even the year after , I would be happy if we let him have a full off season to assess their individual skill sets and assemble a team which suits our strengths.
Just one dilemma, would be Guerra at 13 ( Lock ) is OK if you want him to Defend and sweep behind everyone closing down any half breaks ( like he currently does at Roosters ) , but if you want him scoring tries and stiffening an edge, 11 is his best position.
One thing for sure, whatever is required by the coach for the betterment of the Team will be primary consideration.
Sorry mate i meant never again will he play wing ...
Players Player Round 21: Daniel Saifiti
In the sheds: Danny Levi
We got 2 players in the NRL.com Team of the Week
14. Danny Levi (Knights)
Provided a wonderful spark off the bench against the Dragons, probing around the ruck and getting his forwards over the advantage line as they notched their third win of the season.
15. Jacob Saifiti (Knights)
A crucial inclusion, Saifiti came off the bench and gave the Knights the impact in the second stanza that they have lacked in previous fade-outs, capping his 198 run metres with the match-winning try nine minutes from full-time.
Is there anywhere I can download this game as I still haven't seen it ...thx...Cant find it on youtube at all only highlights .
It isn't much of a game to watch. One of the worst games of the year. The only good thing is we won.
