Moga would be the only certainty for mine for one of those spots. He plays left centre? I think the other centre is up for grabs. SKD might be better on the wing with ball returns and tough yards are usually done by wingers these days to get a good roll on through the middle. IMO the Matu'utia brothers seem to form a decent combination on the left side attack and defense. Despite the one time they all missed tackle on Connor Watson

I thought Lamb started poorly, but got his mojo back as the game went on.

Chanel is a bit dodgy in defence at present, but he has played about 6 games in 2 1/2 years. He looks as big and strong as ever and he should keep improving if he can stay on the field.

Have we forgotten Brendan Elliot or just don't rate him?
For me, I'll be disappointed if he doesn't get resigned

Just putting it out there but gagai is rubbish, too many dropped balls and can't tackle.

I really enjoy Chanel's runs out of our own end. As solid as Elliot is, I would go with Ross & Chanel next year, they bring just a bit more to the table.

We are lacking big bodies, but i agree with you... only reason i picked pauli pauli is for his size... hopefully he recovers from his injuries

Besides speed, dont rate him and never will... roosters let him go without a second thought... he isnt first grade material.

Hopefully we resign pete, but he wont be in our top 17

Chanel is much better on the wing, speed and strength

Gagai looks like he beats a couple of defenders everytime and then in panic offloads the ball for no reason to other team the last couple of weeks. Looking to see who gets the halves spots next year. Connor Watson is close to signing? Where would you play him?

You have to sign Elliot for depth. Very solid in his games in grade.

Connor walks straight into the number 6 for mine. He looks far more dangerous with ball in hand than any of our lot.

We can then figure out whose best placed to play 7. The rest can then work to put pressure on the starters.

We've got to resign someone or there's no one left in NSW cup

How is Jack Cogger's kicking game? Havent seen much of him play but I know he is a half? If connor watson takes the 6, I believe you need someone who really is a dominant kicker as I dont think I have seen Connor kick much, maybe because of the team he plays for at the moment he doesnt need to. Our kicking game and 5th tackle set has been pretty poor all year tbh from the games Ive watched. Either kicking straight for the sideline tactic, now we are bombing from 40 metres out. No control, and even when we get a result... It all seems rushed and improvised.

Agree completely albert. Our current kicking game is rubbish. So if all we do add to the halves is Watson, we may as well have someone who can trouble the line.

I don't see what that's got to do with us being the worst defensive team in the comp

I bet all those mis tackles were on Conor Watson or close to it. He seemed to be fending off everyone tonight. I feel like defensively, we were quite good today and dont think numbers always tell the story. Alot of errors just throwing it to the crash players when it wasn't on.
