We are just a frustrating team, I think that’s what gets people so mad is we beat ourselves majority of the time.

Yeah it sucks. But it’s better than the last few years of not winning any games because we don’t have the ability to score points or create anything.

It was always going to take time to gel with so many new players coming in and injuries to key players only makes it harder.

Yep, if people think we haven’t improved they are joking themselves, considering the circumstances.

End of season will be best to make an accurate summary obviously

The attack is better because obviously if you add a legit rep half and arguably the best fullback in the comp it will be.

Defence seems more of the same.

The worst part about that game was the fact we should have won it. Only for our own ineptitude with the ball.

We outplayed Melbourne and still found a way to lose it. So many opportunities thrown away from stupid play trying to score immediately instead of working for a try, repeat sets etc. We should have gone in at half time 18-0 in front. At worst, 18-6.

Such a winnable game that one, ruined by horrible play.

Watson is not meant to have a kicking game or a playmaking one, he was brought in to be a running 5/8 and take on the line. Pearce is our playmaker, kicker, etc. Unfortunately Cogger is not up to it in the playmaking department, and so far, neither has Lamb been.

Once Pearce is back players can get back to their roles and leave the playmaking to Pearce we should improve out of sight.

We went back to 3 blokes going high around the ball. Only had to hit like the week before and we win. Another thing I thought it was evident in the first 2 minutes we didn't "come ready to play".

Which he does really well, he's run for more than 100m in 7 of the last 8 games since he returned from injury with 7 line breaks in that same period.

So many things annoy me about the knights but having no one backing up blokes when they make a line break must be top 5.

Frustrating is exactly right. We had all those opportunities from line breaks & blew all of them. It's happened a fair bit this year too. Just some of those balls land, we score a couple more tries & win a couple more games. That's the positive, we are creating the chances to win the game. Eventually you'd think those passes will start to land, combinations will get better as Ponga, Pearce, Watson, Griffin, Levi play more football together. It's just hard now, because those passes aren't landing & we're losing a bunch of games, which always tends to cover up any positives & makes us look like we're not getting any better.
