Well that ends the have we or haven't we speculation, now how do we make the most of him
Out of all the signings so far (apart from Ponga), this one has got me the most excited
He starts at 6.
With lamb/cogger/trent fighting for 7?
Are you discounting Maloney altogether ?
The Knights website has announced Connor Watson has signed with the Knights for 3 years from 2018.

Yep, Brown said he wants a running 6 to play outside a ball playing 7
Yep, unless Maloney comes.
Maloney would be great but the need for him is no longer as critical as it was, I don't believe we will get Maloney, love to be wrong
It's all dependant on what Cronk does. If he keeps playing and signs with Cronulla Maloney is ours.
I tried to find Connor Watson on twitter to see if he is saying anything about the signing.
All I found was a facebook account, and I notice he is facebook friends with some of our central coast juniors about his age - Jack Cogger, Dan and Jake Saifiti, and Brodie Jones. Not a bad group that.
He used to play with both Saifiti's and is very close mates with Tom Starling. Safe to say he won't struggle fitting in.
Fantastic signing! He and Ponga are what I'm most excited about heading into next season.
And Matty add Phythian to that mix. I see Watson 7 and Phythian 6 building into a dynamic combination.
I see them both as running halves member. I'd love to see fiffo slot into the 9 role with levi. Definitely has all the skills.
For mine Dan I would run him at 6 first. That 40/20 he booted in Round One was brilliant. He has a big boot on him.
Developing the Buhrer/Levi combination looks good at this stage.
Hopefully that's the case, the last I read the South's were also interested...

Also says Knights now turning to bolstering their Forward pack.
As long as it is a big experienced Prop.
The current crop of young local forwards have shown promise just lack direction and application which comes with experience.
The Hooker position can easily be covered by the surplus of promising young halves , a dominant half will supply all the over calls required to maximise momentum shifts and spot weaknesses.
