Awesome we are getting that good balance, young fellas will be fairly happy with having him on board.

Hopefully Dan will be reigned in a little bit and play a few less minutes, he was an absolute beast this year but last thing we want is for him to be burnt out by 25. Ese Ese and Dan starting will be Electric and than more good meter eaters in Jake and Jacob will be pretty sexy.

Not second guessing what Brownie will do , but I would use Lillyman in the first session where the big bodies work each other over then bring on some of the young players with better footwork to capitalise on those opposition who have been softened up to be exploited.

Great signing if true. He averaged over 120m this year and will be good if he did the same next year for us

I'm hoping we can get one more experienced forward (possibly Tagataese) and one of the Morris brothers as well as re-sign Pete

Bring on the fire sale though

    So our prop rankings are probably something like;

    1 Lillyman
    2 Dan Saf
    3 Eseese
    4 Josh King
    5 Jake Saf
    6 Pasami Saulo
    7 Tyrone Amey
    8 Pat Mat
    9 Cam King
    10 Matt Croker

Still an insanely young and inexperienced roster, although i'd back every one of them to make massive Improvements except for Lillyman, who is probably starting to decline now.
We also have Barnett and Guerra who could move to prop, and probably will before we call up anyone outside that top 5, given that we have 3 or 4 spare second rowers.

I'd have Dan ahead of Lillyman based on this years efforts. Still could do with one more quality prop.

Agree on both fronts. We still need another decent middle for sure, and I reckon there'll be another signing. Josh King is still fringe and from him and JSaf down, it falls away pretty quick.

Definitely agree that we could use another prop. We've only got 4 that are first grade quality IMO. Daniel Saifiti, Lillyman, Ese'se and Jacob Saifiti. I think King is purely depth and I'm not comfortable with him being an injury or suspension away from being a regular first grader again. Could definitely use another, even to compete with Jacob Saifiti for that 4th prop spot on the bench (until he becomes consistent). At this point I'm thinking Daniel Saifiti and Lillyman start with Ese'ese and Jacob Saifiti off the bench. Little depth behind them with King and Amey nothing to get excited about.

Another season, more improvement. 2017 two props, Dan and Jacob, 2018 four props, Dan, Ese'ese, Lillyman and Jacob as first graders, King as back up rather than starter, any other signings a plus, got to be big improvement 2017 to 2018.
Do we really have to wait 5-6 months?

One more angry/passionate prop similar to Klemmer would be unreal

    Hi Guys,

Been looking over the forum for many years but never been an actual member, thought I might as well sign up and join the chat!

Noticed its been a bit quiet on here lately so thought I would rip into a post!

Thoughts on this potential buy? (All but sealed I believe) I think any front rower at this stage is decent enough for us as we need some, hopefully some more quality becomes available over the off season!

Hopefully it is in the ten day cooling off and will be announced next week.

Lillyman will bring a lot of experience to the front row, and the Saifiti's and Ese'ese should learn a lot from him. Sure he is getting on, but it is hard to get all that experience without the age! Was still good enough to be selected in Queensland SOO Game One this year. If the Doggies have a fire sale whenever the new coach is appointed, i would just love to see Aiden Tolman come here.

Thank you Warriors for falling on the Blair grenade and giving us a superior player as well.

Ken oath. Imagine how many penalties Blair would've conceded if he was wearing a Knights jersey last night?

Should be very soon, must have been 10 days plus since announcement, could get cold feet based on our additional forward signings (proposed) going to hard to make 17 let alone starting 13 in forwards.
