Haven't heard much from them celebrating 100 years of Rugby League ?
I think most of the celebrations were last year, for the 100th anniversary of the All Golds. The test debacle in Wellington was our Centenary Test. haha
Yea, but still it was hardly talked about last year though, unless there was alot going on in NZ ?
Though I didn't read/hear/see much of a celebration, although the all golds team etc did a haka for S.Jones which was very nice and touching.
Well there was the Wellington test, the All Golds match, the tour to GB, there were more players added to the hall of fame and there was a huge book published on the history of the Kiwis. Probably there were a few other events I don't know about.
The NZRL's perilous financial state would have made it impossible to have any larger events, and it's not like there's a century old national comp over here like the NRL to have events during.
