Well we have enough fringe NRL props and need either some to step up or sign quality.

He would walk into the club and be number prop at the club.

An unbelievably under rated player who has done his job for several years without fuss.

Leeson is a very very good prop, he's also very reliable and leads by example.
    Last few yrs of stats.
    2015 108m 26tks
    2016 98m 23tks
    2017 120m 25tks
    2018 132m 17tks

Thats some pretty consistent numbers, 2016 meters were down but the Dragons had a pretty poor yr and he was kinda the only real prop they had.

Ah Mau would be our best most consistent prop IMO.

Who are the 6 props you talk of? We’re losing Lillyman and Heighington next season. Leaves us with Daniel Saifiti who has nice potential, Jacob Saifiti who has some potential but is yet to cement himself as a regular first grader and Ese’ese who’s been solid for us and can hopefully improve. That’s only 3 props and Ah Mau is better and more consistent than all of them right now IMO. King not worth mentioning here. He’s ok depth.

Who are the big name props off contract exactly?

I've seen TPJ, Shannon Boyd mentioned, but that's probably it for big names.

Of the props up for grabs at the moment Boyd is the one that offers variety as well as muscle and aggression that some of our forwards lack. Not saying he is a starting type or solid bench, needs to be fitter, slimmer without taking away from his natural game. Unleash him for 40 mins a game it will fire the rest up, we don't need more of the same. All of our current props are good but lack fire, Esee and DSaf are good, could get better in a few years but need a bit of fire and brimstone along side them.

I’d take Boyd but probably wouldn’t be willing to pay his asking price. For as dominant as he can be in patches, he’s way too inconsistent. Never been the biggest fan of his because of that.

Browny and Mooney know exactly what they are doing. Browny is very familiar with Glasby from his Storm days. If there is something there he values, grab him.

Didn't do too bad with Nuggett Griffin despite the naysayers here, did he?

Don't know why King isn't worth mentioning since he's on the roster and played a lot of first grade over the last 2 years ??

So yeah maybe 5 not 6 the twins, Herm, Leeson & King.

King seems to have fallen behind Yates in the pecking order.

So Ah Mau is of a similar quality to King (who’s currently not in first grade and never gets named on the extended bench) and Jacob Saifiti (who can’t cement a regular first grade bench spot despite only having competition of the old over the hill Heighington and Buhrer who’s playing completely out of position in the middle third)?

Ok. Agree to disagree. Big time.

I think we can take a lot of our players having played vast amounts of first grade the last 2 years gone, with the same legitimacy as people who have played for Scotland in the world cup being referred to as internationals.

I'd take euen aitken any day of the week. Coote was/is a good a fullback as any in his day. SOME of Scotland's players are genuinely great players.

Question, do we consider JSaf for first grade, based on form, ability etc IF he didn't have a brother named DSaf, or are we pandering to a "take us both or none" attitude.
Question 2. Because we pander does that mean other players, King, lose a bit of heart because they see other obstacles in way of grade.
Question 3. The talk of "play us both together" is all about one dragging the other along.
Brought this up as I don't believe either Safiti is playing as they should/could and wonder if selection is based on not upsetting brothers, if JSaf wants to play 1sts and play with brother he should perform accordingly. Have no doubt DSaf deserves first grade spot, JSaf??? On current form/performance

I've been calling for the twins to start for 1 reason only.
They are our most demaging props when they want to be.

I think throwing them in the deep end and telling them to bash the other team from the kick off is our best chance of getting thrm going again an us being dominate early.

    If they fail drop them.
Jsaf has been the best prop in cup every time he plays so thats the reason he gets called back to firsts.

When in firsts the stats show he has more impact per minute than Heighington and Lillyman though those old heads need to be in the team atm.

Jsaf been a huge flop in firsts this year and apparently didn't have a go in nsw cup. Attitude quickly becoming a concern
