    Bit of history here.

    https://www.newcastleknights.com.au...ane-every-knight-from-1-301/?nrlreferral=true

I remember the Knights coming in to the NRL putting together a side and heading out every game to compete hard, not to necessarily win, but the visiting team knew they had played a tough game of footy at full time, often finding it hard to back up the next week.

Names like Stewart, Kemp, McCormack, Glanville were early knights I looked up to. Glanville especially, not the most skilled, but the biggest heart, never let the team down and just went and did his job game after game.

Damn shame that Cory Paterson is out injured for Toronto Wolfpack today.
He might have played his last game.
Only Uate from our 2006 under 20s side still playing next year with Walsh and Jono Wright both also finishing this year - although a heap like Walsh, Schillings, Gordon, Richardson and Simon Allen are still playing in the real NRL.
If Pato had played in this game he would be playing against Jarrod Sammut in his last game. They played against each other in the 2006 Jersey Flegg grandfinal, with Sammut leading Penrith to the win.
