Just so you don’t all think I’m making **** up for the sake of it.
He confirmed Watson was ours when all the journos said he had signed with tigers. Also gives me the nsw origin side days prior to it being announced

He’s been pretty spot on with literally everything he has given me so far. I know it looks **** when you’ve got someone saying “oh my source telling me this or that” because it’s usually absolute rubbish. But this bloke seems to have some sort of inside info

Was Hunt signed 3 months ago? Why would they wait so long to announce it?

You need time to properly build the anticipation and make the announcement as grand as possible.

It’s not every day you sign South Sydney’s 6th best outside back.

He'll do until Moga earns his spot back.

I would have kept Denniss tbh.

Denniss was coming along well towards the end of the season. It'll be interesting to see if he earns a gig in another team. Otherwise, we have a few spots still available and he might yet be picked up by us again.

He wasnt signed 3 months ago when you said.
    Where is Napa?
    Good depth signing though.
He's another big body for an outside back.

It's also for a 1-year deal, rather than '2 years with an option for a third'.

I've often wondered if he is any relation to the Kiwi centre we had in under 20s 6 or 7 years ago - Harmony Hunt - both from Auckland - and I sense a theme in their names.

Yeah I doubt it was a done deal back then. Probably just an option that we might give a call at some point like Frawley or Vave. You'd assume the Jennings deal hasn't progressed like we wanted so we've given Hunt the go ahead.

Hunt is a better option at the moment for us imo than Jennings.
Bigger, a lot cheaper and less of a risk.

Looking less and less likely Ross will be seeing much NRL next year. Might pay him to consider that UK move a bit more closely.

He's been pretty clear he's not moving anywhere.
I'd have Ross in front of hunt at centre, maybe not wing. Gets his 350k either way.

1 year deal hey, just a nothing signing to fill out the 30.
