They are saying they are getting the chance they wouldn't of got at their current clubs.

You got some problems if you think they aren't locked into 1 and 6 respectively.

Better sack Brown then because Ponga has the 1 locked up the moment he sets foot in the club.

And thats what they are getting, a chance in their positions. No question they will start the year in the 1 and 6 and go from there. If they lose their spot due to form they didn't take their chance.

And we will if he doesn't perform or would you rather he play and not perform in 1st grade.
Get realistic, everyone has to perform if not someone will take your spot, do we want to win or watch our marque players stroll through a game and head to the cash register after another loss

Ponga and Watson are kids, they will have a lot of games where they don't perform. We have given some youngsters 2 years to get their performances up to scratch, Ponga and Watson should be no different, they will need time.

The point is Brown didn't spend mega bucks on the kid to play him on the wing on in reserves. He'll be the most talented player at the club the minute he walks through the door.

Slots , I hope you are right.

Won't be the first Kid with potential to hit FG and be found wanting , there are so many outside factors which influence performance at this level.

    1. The age of entitlement is no more
    2. Impact of injury and recovery, which are imminent at this level
    3. Pressures of personal Life
    4. Home sickness
    5. Constant Pressure to perform from other players with potential
    6. Opposition work you out

    Just to name a few.

Surely one of those others previously mentioned is better option, still have Rory who can mentor young hookers, rather Licha or the Melb bloke, name escapes me.

    His name is Slade Griffin.

Rein, Lichaa or Griffin would be much cheaper.

If we could get Farah for reasonable money with Souths paying half his wages he would be a good pick up for 1 year.
Our young side would get a lot from playing with a guy who hates to lose like him, and Levi would learn a lot.

I can't imagine Mick Potter would be giving Farrah much of a wrap... He would be the last player he would want around the squad.

Farrah is a grub who will bring chaos like he did at Wests. Go sell pizzas bucko!

Souths must have got the message he wasn't worth the $1million Wests were going to pay him.
