Great foresight. Was fully expecting him to sign with Newcastle. Can you tell me tomorrow's lotto numbers too?

According to foxsports it was a 34 year old, lets hope Gardiner bans Brown from looking abroad if that's the best he can do.

I don't think Walmsley was ever even a rumour. I looked it up on twitter at the time & all I found was some guy saying he hopes it was Walmsley, then everyone seemed to run with it thinking it was some inside info.

Sean O’Loughlin apparently. Isn’t necessary anyway.

Glad it fell through. We have Guerra, Barnett, Buhrer, Fitzy, Sione and guys like Amey who have performed admirably when given a chance. We don't need any more backrowers.

Sean O'laughlin wasn't the player in the swap rumour.

Saw it from The Mole, not that I care what he thinks.

    Who was it then?

Who knows, could be Great Britain star in the same way that anybody who ever played a game for an NRL club, but then finds themselves in the news is suddenly former club star.

But we don't need another back rower on the team anyway.

Yeah he's played in the middle for the last few years at Cronulla. Can't see him getting a lot of First Grade tbh, he's down the pecking behind Saifiti x 2, Lillyman, Ese'Ese and King.

I'd have him over King at this stage.

He is a good backup for firsts and brings a lot of experience for the young ones, not my pick but if we got him let's use him to whatever is an advantage, mentor for younger players

King had a great finish to the year, would come down to preseason IMO if Kingy kills it hopefully he'd get the nod.
