Hopefully this Rothfield clown is not talking about Chris Heighington considering he played for England earlier this year.

Not so keen on EPL players, rather throw money at tried and true local NRL players, surely some will become available such as Morris from dogs.

A 27 year old prop who seems to be a late developer by his bio, which is usually a good sign that players have room to improve.
The only bad thing is that we have seen Brown will give him game time if he deserves it or not, and i'd hate to see him push out someone like Jake Saifiti and not deliver.

Burgess brothers, Gareth Ellis, Josh Hodgson, James Graham, Elliot Whitehead, Gareth Widdop, Mike Cooper? Sam Tomkins was pretty decent too & Joe Burgess came good at the end. There's decent players over there, it's still a professional league. We're not talking a local league drop in standard. Just have to look every player by a case by case basis, decide whether they can be useful at a higher level or improve to a new level.

Non Sydney club in negotiations for a player swap to send a half and get a forward back in return according to Nathan Ryan.

Pretty obvious us sending Hodkinson and getting someone in return would be win win. But gee's that leaves us light on halves, Lamb and Watson.

Too me that would signify we are definitely getting Maloney, no way we go in with 2 very rookie halves.

It is still possible Scaleybugs we could be in the market for Maloney. Cronk was very evasive last night when Joey asked him what he was going to do. If he was going to retire. he may well have said so when asked.

Sounded to me like his playing on for sure, be very surprised if its not Cronk to Sharks, and Maloney to us.

would Maloney be worth 1mil a year to us though? Lamb had a better 2nd half to the year than him imo

Course he is worth it. Lamb had some good games, some not so good so still a work in progress for the next year or two.

Is he worth adding to our team? Of course. Is he worth the $1M asking price? I'm not so sure with how bad his form tailed off. Saying he's a defensive liability and penalty prone is an understatement. In attack he's great, that's where he earns his coin, but even that wasn't crash hot the back half of the year. I used to love Maloney. I'm now weary of him for that price tag.

I'm worried of him being Hodko 2.0. But i really like him as a player just not how he performed the back end of this season.
