That list is grim. What's Junior Sau doing with himself these days? I know he can't pass and is in his 30's but him running into the goalposts during the warm up was always good fun.

Idris, Neilsen and Stanley have been tested and would be handy to any side at least for assessment.

Think they ended up with an F in that test.

What with his rushing out of the line and leaving his winger to defend a 20 metre gap himself?

If they sign no one and SKD has to play there then still miles in front of another season of Pete.
Just hope he and moga don't get injured.

I thought Tom Hughes would be a front runner after his strong 2017 in Reserve Grade, leading try scorer in the competition.

Played wing most of the time I think, if SKD or Moga get injured we will have to use a reserve grader if no signing and any new signing looks to be reserve grade.

Idris spends a bit of time up my way, not the sort of bloke we want at the club. Neilsen is past it and not that talented. Chase Stanley has been tested and unfortunately proven to be made of glass. With all due respect, none of those guys are worth pursuing in my opinion.

Why are we talking about spending money on a journeyman centre?
We have Meaney who made the NSW under 20s and NSW residents, played great in both games, and was our reserve grade player of the year to fit into the side somewhere, as well as Phythian, Hughes and not sure if we still have Gagan.
You guys who want to sign a 30 year old reserve grade reject when we have guys like Meaney and Phythian and Hughes we can't find positions for have me wondering how many rubbish players will make you happy?

I don't want us to sign a journeyman centre. I just don't want any of the plods on that list. I think we need to bring in a quality centre and Josh Morris would be perfect. I like the young kids we have coming through, but we can't expect any of the names you have tossed up to be genuine first team NRL quality centres come round 1.

Morris is really Mr. Plod period.

He is 31 now and has scored 10+ tries in only one of the past five seasons.

Probably more of a reflection of the plod playmakers he has played outside.

Perhaps my definition of Mr plod or a journeyman differs from others, but I don't think 20 games for NSW/Aus really qualifies.

Also the current Origin player of the series has scored 29 tries in the last 6 seasons total...

The best thing about Josh Morris would be having an edge defence that wasn't a complete embarrassment for the first time in about 10 years.

I agree with Josh Morris being a quality defender and I think his attack is underrated. However I just don't see him being enough injury free for us to get any benefit. I don't think it's valuable for our team to purchase any player that's going to spend more time in the stands than on the field.

I'd love Morris, we pay $300k and dogs pay $200k would be a steal and he wouldn't be on more than that.

LOL @ Mbye being a $1 million dollar player, has all the competiveness of a palm full of playdo.

    2015 22 games
    2016 23 games
    2017 24 games

And I think he missed games in 15/16 because he was on rep duty, not injury.

Think Morris might be a bit far fetched, Dogs have fixed salary cap, new coach wants dogs as before, family, so think he will start off with what he has, including Morris boys and update his squad over next season or two.
If no others signed will be a very good team, hope for no serious injuries and fill in will come from reserves with Hughes and Gagan being strong defenders and can score tries.

Gagan was signed to 2017, I have not seen anything to suggest he has been resigned.
