I've been impressed with KP's D, was worried he may be a little soft but he's showed good strength and commitment in that area. Fantastic player. Was good to see him on the right side tonight, hopefully we'll see more of it.

I hope Nathan gives Ponga a sling. I've got no doubt without the kid Brown's future wouldn't look so rosy.

Ponga has 10 try assists for the season now should be 12 if sio wasn't a muppet and Sione didnt get in the way. The kid is a freak

I don't wanna be a downer but would like to see him play deeper in attack.

Ponga is averaging about 40 ball receipts a game.
Slater is only averaging about 30, and Tedesco about 20.
Connor Watson is only averaging around 40 and he is an actual 5/8.
Even Pearce is only averaging a bit over 50.

In short, the kid is working his arse off, and maybe he could have more impact in the future when he learns to be more selective about when he has a run. I'd prefer if he only got involved when we are in the 20 metre zone - except for kick returns of course - and backing up breaks.

Shouldn't be afraid to change anything if it's for the better but of course that's a matter of opinion.

It won't hurt Ponga to learn his limits by over reaching a bit when Pearce is out, but Brown will need to tell him to pull his head in if it looks like costing us games.

No one knows how he'll react when he has a bad spell, so I suppose we cross that bridge when we come to it, seeing as how we have already thrown him in the deep end, and he seems to be swimming for now.

Nothing wrong with using Ponga as a decoy, sides expect him to get the ball, recognise him as the danger, use that, switch play while he drags defence towards him

Everything good we are doing in attack is coming off Kalyn. I thought play broke down too often when we went away from him. Although Levi has added another threat since coming back in

Everyone: “Kalyn Ponga in danger of over exposure”
