Dunno about a T-Shirt but I'd love to see that held up at a home game on a banner.
That would be fantastic.
Lets make it happen!
Would be better than the Raiders

Can definitely see him being in the camp and possibly at the number 14 spot. There is no way they will put him in at hooker though for origin. The last thing you’d want him doing is defending the middle with a Klemmer or RCG picking him out off a restart.
That was brillant!
It’s all worked out really, he may have stayed up in NQand be used differently or not at all yet.
Couldn’t care how much we’re paying him to be honest, I’m just glad he’s running out for us and not against us. What a player.
Maybe not a traditional style hooker role. But an impact running role to just come on late in a half, be around the ball & take scoots constantly keeping the defence on their toes. The type of role that guys like Peachey, Josh Reynolds, Damien Cook, Michael Morgan, Milford get talked up for. Could probably then move him out wide or something in defence so he doesn't get targeted.
Ponga spent several plays standing directly behind the dummy half in the game, just a few metres behind him.
It's something he practiced with Levi in the opposed sessions.
Levi went for a scoot from dummy half and Ponga went for a scoot with him and got a sharp pass right at the line.
It led to a few good tries in the opposed sessions.
We'll probably see it again.
I’m a huge Ponga fan. Have already stated he’s arguably the in-form fullback of the competition, but I don’t think he’s ready for Origin. Not yet. Give him another 12 months of maturation, then have him the direct replacement for Slater when he retires. I wouldn’t play Ponga anywhere besides fullback, so wouldn’t even consider naming him at 14 this year. You don’t want this kid defending in the line, especially not at Origin level. As out of form as Morgan is, I’d put him 14 before Ponga every day of the week. He’s big, strong, physical, versatile and proven at this level. This is a guy who can legitimately play fullback, centre, halves, hooker and lock. Hunt and Munster halves.
Only one of these guys you mentioned has played the number 14 role in origin before and he has the size and strength of a lot forwards in the comp.
Only way he makes the 14 spot is if they are willing to change everything mid game to accomodate him on the field. They will have to hide him on the wing or at fullback in defence and there is no way Smith is coming off during the game. He will be more like a Bowen roving impact player then what Morgan has been in the past as he could line up at lock.
Ponga won’t play unless there’s injuries. They’ll go:
He will be 18th man and a direct replacement for slater if he keeps it up.
They will want to get him in and around camp. all pluses for us.
Best possible outcome for us would be Ponga doing all the camps and training in different positions as well, but not playing yet.
He'll come back a better player for training with the best.
Think Boyd would still be ahead of Ponga at FB if Slater is out. Shouldn’t be, but would be. How badly could the Cowboys do with a player like Kalyn right now. He literally looks like one of several missing ingredients they require!
So you think Ponga will be dropped to reserve grade ?
Were did that come from, where was the suggestion, was it a "let's stir the pot" explain please
I very much doubt he'll play game 1. If NSW win there might be pressure on QLD to make changes, particularly if Morgan is still plonking along. That might be his chance for a utility role, although like cowboyman said I don't know where you hide him in defence.
I think that was more a crack at Danny Levi not being in first grade anytime soon
They're getting a touch slow lately Tubby.
