Players get a needle to play beyond their capabilities whilst carrying an injury every week. Mullen was all kinds of stupid but I can't help but think, given the juice has a detection window of about 3 weeks, that as well as stupid he was a touch unlucky to be caught or dobbed in whatever one it was.

Unlike those guys though, there's not really a chance for Mullo to come back to the public eye & redeem himself. More than likely he'll disappear forever unfortunately.

Don't know how. But just picture a typical aussie with a rough head, beer belly and skinny legs in gothic drag and your on the money.

    It's all over.

    Club statement: Jarrod Mullen

The Club has today been informed that the NRL Anti-Doping Tribunal has confirmed a four-year ban for Jarrod Mullen due to Anti-Doping Rule violations.

“As we have said all along, this has been a disappointing matter for all parties,” CEO Matt Gidley.

“We wish to reiterate this matter took place independently of the Club.

“It is important to acknowledge Jarrod made a significant contribution to the Club over a long period of time and that adds to the disappointment in how he now departs the Club.

“We wish him and his family all the best for the future.”

not an un-expected result. it was dragging out to long.

Jarrod was never going to be shown any leniency with his refusal to give up peoples names.

A fit Mullen would have been very good for us this season. We are really missing him this year, the performance of our halves has been dismal.

Jarrod did make a significant contribution to our club, taking over from Joey was always going to be a massive challenge.

It is profoundly sad that Jarrod's career ended the way it did.

Hopefully we will find a half or 5/8 soon who will lead us to our third premiership.
