Just for fun I thought I'd compare our Trent to the leagues half backs.

    Here goes.

Trent Hodkinson: GP: 6, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 2, Line Breaks: 2, ARM: 209, Hitups: 39, Tackles: 94.
Tyrone Roberts: GP 6, Tries: 2, Try Assists: 4, Line Breaks: 3, ARM: 302, Hitups: 41, Tackles: 65.
Luke Brooks: GP 4, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 1, Line Breaks: 2, ARM: 242, Hitups: 38, Tackles: 42.
    Corey Norman: GP: 5, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 3, Line Breaks:2, ARM: 474, Hitups: 62, Tackles: 73.
Nathan Cleary: GP: 6, Tries: 2, Try Assists: 3, Line Breaks: 3, ARM: 494, Hitups: 73, Tackles: 86.
Kieran Foran: GP: 2, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 2, Line Breaks: 3, ARM: 179, Hitups: 23, Tackles: 36
Shaun Johnson: GP: 6, Tries: 3, Try Assists: 6, Line Breaks: 4, ARM: 514, Hitups: 61, Tackles: 98.*
Moses Mbye: GP 5, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 0, Line Breaks: 3, ARM: 341, Hitups: 34, Tackles: 76.
Ben Hunt: GP 6, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 2, Line Breaks: 1, ARM: 288, Hitups: 42, Tackles: 148.
Chad Townsend: GP 6, Tries: 0, Try Assists: 2, Line Breaks: 1, ARM: 352, Hitups: 51, Tackles: 129.
Aidan Sezer: GP 6, Tries: 0, Try Assists: 3, Line Breaks: 0, ARM: 226, Hitups: 31, Tackles: 77.
Mitchell Pearce: GP 6, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 3, Line Breaks: 3, ARM: 394, Hitups: 57, Tackles: 120.
Cooper Cronk: GP 6, Tries: 2, Try Assists: 4, Line Breaks: 2, ARM: 302, Hitups: 43, Tackles: 102.
Dale Cherry Evans: GP 6, Tries: 1, Try Assists: 7, Line Breaks: 1, ARM: 300, Hitups: 38, Tackles: 167.

Kieran Foran in only two games has managed to match Hodkinson for tries, try assists and line breaks, and isn't far off running metres either lol.

What the stats really highlight, is Hodkinsons catch and pass mentality. Unfortunately what the Knights need is a line running half.

    Anyway, enjoy.

In Hodkinson's defence it might tell a different story comparing how many good legs he has compared to the other halves.

Hodko is actually middle of the pack on averages there.

What those stats dont tell u is
    Knights last for run meters,
    Knights last for possession
    Knights 2nd last for completion

But hey we need a whipping boy

LOL, keep going mate. What good is a halfback whose knees are so bad he can't kick on the last tackle?

Jesus. Hodkinson has been nothing short of absolutely pathetic. By defending him your losing credibility.

Im not defending him at all, and credibility??? I had that once? Dang it.

Yes his pretty shiphouse but so is the whole side if where to be honest.

    Heres a thought for us.
    Out of our 1-17
How many do we think would make it into one of the top 6 teams starting side.

You could argue that a nuffy like McCrone has been better than Hodko this year. At least he runs to the line.

Hodkinson has been our worst. The difference between him and the others is that he's the captain and is getting 600k a year to be our worst week in and week out.

There is no question McCrone has been better.

Hodkinson is actually 7th for hitup runs on that list.
Hodkinson is tied 4th for tries on that list.
Hodkinson is tied for 7th for assists.

If only the rest of our team could be middle of the field in there key areas... we mite be 2win 6losses right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him medically retire after this year. He's obviously struggling that bad that he has to pass to Pete, Sione or Barnett 99% of the time.

Our worst players on the field are
    Starling
    Stockwell
    D Saifiti
    J Saifiti
    Tupou

Barnett has gone from world beater to **** poor as well tbh.

No half can win game when always on the back foot.
What a player earns isnt a concern on the field...

Vs the roosters our gun pack dished up some fear
    D Saifiti 96m
    Starling 69m
    Sione 103m
    Wardle 44m
    Barnett 55m
    Stockwell 37m
    Stone 44m
    Yates 30m
    J Saifiti 58m

Thats 550m gained with 39 sets in hand.....

Our forwards have kept us in most of the games this season. If we had a halfback capable of laying on tries or willing to kick the football we might have a few wins on the board. He's getting thoroughly out played every week by a kid who's played 10 First Grade games.

What games are u talking bout?
Our forwards have been a push over every game mozza.

Where do we need major signings right now? I think 95% of people will say prop x 2 or 5 tbh
Dont get me wrong id happily have Cronk or Foran here, but there 1.2mil players who will look like park players behind the powerpuff pack we trot out weekly

If he was doing the basics right like kicking ok on the 5th then fair enough but he can't even get a simple grubber into the in-goal or find space with his kicks (when he actually decides to do it). That's not on the forwards - that's on him.

At the end of the day he's our captain and key signing so big expectations come with that.
