We all become a bit jaded from time to time(and his time at the other place wouldn't help), Slots will be right as long as he doesn't start chewing on the furniture like NickW does in his rages.

We bring in Heighno and Lillyman who are much much much better players than Vete, and they struggle basically. But Vete is the answer, LOL.

Point is we don't have a strong system that can taker a fringe NSW Cup guy and turn him into something decent. The two above have gone the other way.

Jack hetherington playing awesome tonight for the Panthers. Wont get much of a run ahead of Taumau, Gillard, Harris & Merrrin. Also Grant next year.
    Worth a look.

He had a bloody great stint off the bench. He looks hungry - what we need!

Siosaia Vave & Tevita Tatola would be alright for depth.

Heatherington , Siosaia Vave , Tevita Tatola Don't know a lot about them but maybe take a chance on 3 young hungry guys instead of older experienced guys this time .

Liked the Penrith bloke, Hetherington?, he was strong and played hard, is he local lad who went elsewhere to play.
Due to lack of experienced props available maybe young and hungry is the way to go as Ethan suggested

Klemmer , Kapow and TPJunior would be my first choices though lol but as that's not going to happen 3 hungry young guys that want to come and prove themselves like Ese,ese could work ...

Why bother signing Felise and not give him a crack ? Could not possibly produce less than Lillyman.

Says on line that Hetherington is from Lake Macquarie. Maybe he might want to come back. Did play juniors for us @Billy?

I'm hoping Felise will be put into the final 17.

I don't remember him, and I can't find him on the Ball and Mathews lists, so i'd say no.

-Pasami Saulo could help us next year.
Ive watched him play this year in both fleg & cup and he has looked strong & hungry for action.
With another pre-season under his belt he could be a good bench prop next year.
We would still need some more but he is looking promising.

-Siosia Vave looked good against us tonight.

He is off contract and would make a good cheap depth/bench prop.

Vave is overweight but if he could get some fitness and trim down a touch he could be a useful bloke.

Even if he doesn't trim down he could be useful, and who says he is overweight and not fit, surely at this stage of season, barring injury all players of note are fit and trim, let's keep an eye on him

If he gets 15 minutes and makes 50m its a upgrade on Lillyman.... sad really

All these props Mooney recruited for our juniors are starting to look OK.
Momoisea and Alifa have already played reserve grade. Alifa went the better of the two.
Fuimaono is going great in under 20s, and Kingston Puru had a great under 18s season and went really well in his one game of under 20s.
I think Momoisea and Alifa are kiwis we recruited from Melbourne, Fuimaono came from South Sydney and Puru we recruited directly from NZ.
I think the best two young props we have are still Saulo and Croker, who came up through our juniors from under 16s and have both been regular rep players, but Mooney has aggressively recruited young props and all 6 mentioned wouldn't look out of place if they got a firstgrade pre season - we just don't have that many places I think.

We will have if we don't sign anyone and offload the non performers, all for giving young guys a go as long as they have time to develop and adjust through u20 and reserves but cannot hide the fact that while that is happening we need at least 1 big bad prop to go with Glasby, Esee, Dan and JSaf etc
