The player vetting criteria on this site is thorough, I'll give you boys that..

Alvaro would be a great pick up for us for the right money.

I'd taken Nathan Brown, but not sure if Nathan Brown would be able to keep Nathan Brown away from killing Barnett

To be fair, Barnett threw some quality lefts. I'll still back Barney.

Easy to hit a person held by 3 others though.

Absolutely, though that's not what I'm saying. I don't reckon you ever see why Barney turns around like he does.

Barnett wouldn't care less but Brown is a psycho so I'd say he'd never forget

    Great we need a psycho.

Would you get Brown if it meant losing Barnett?

Brown is actually a really nice guy off the field. He wouldn’t be holding any beef with Barnett.

Same. So the end of the trail I been laying is who cares if we bring him in and Barnett leaves. Brown is much better.

Thought Brown was pretty quiet this year but he has more impact than Barnett.

Wasn't Barnett our best and fairest, or the coaches best etc n 2017?

He got player of the year. I thought Dan Saifiti probably had a better year but Barnett was very good too.

He was pretty good in 2018 too after a slow start. I really like him as a player. Not the biggest bloke but has a crack on both sides of the ball, not unlike Nathan Brown actually.

Barnett's problem is he cant play long minutes and still be effective. When he's gassed he makes stupid decisions, misses takles and gives away stupid penalties.

He'll be great off the bench IMO

Parramatta’s prop Kane Evans could be on the way out after not enjoying life as an Eel.
This guy has a bit of mongrel about him I would have liked us to sign him last season he wouldn't be expensive and at 6'6" and 110kg he is big enough.

    Our reserve grade front row stocks are beginning to look reasonable for next year;

    8. Jacob,
    10. Gavet (hopefully we get him)

    14. Saulo,
    15. King,

and there's a couple of half decent kids coming through to add a bit of depth.

He is big enough but he is not good enough. Couldn’t crack the Roosters side consistently and can’t crack the Eels side either. Would rather save the money for next year than spend a dollar on Evans.

I've said this exact thing before, I think a 50 minute Barnett is better than a 80 minute Barnett
