Big Jirah Momoisea had a run in the Flegg game yesterday that was better than any I've seen from Saulo this year. He made 25 or 30 metres through heavy traffic - reminded me of big Dane Tilse in under 20s.
Jirah has only been playing league for 2 years and has been getting better and better all year. He is as tall or taller than Saulo, but not as solidly built at this stage.
If he gets a fulltime off season I think he will be a real rival for Saulo.

It would be nice of have bench of the next "big things" on $100k a year like the Broncos always seem to have (TPJ, ESE last year. Fifita, Haas this year)

Really think Ese is sensational at lock and too skilled for a battering ram.

    Presently.

    10. Dan.
    8. Glasby.
    13. Ese Ese.

Far out she gets depressing after that currently.

Was we offered or did we look at Mattheson? He’s way bigger than I thought and looks very handy. Would surely be in our 17?!

Madness indeed! Is he still on market? We may have to make some calls.

Same. He was just one of their pack who got mauled. It’s hardly as if we have better. Kind of dreaming that a couple of youngsters like Saulo and JSaf really step up next year and be consistent monsters!

Glasby carried a rib injury into the game from last week and got found out and missed 70 minutes or so.

At this stage, Esee, DanS, Glasby, JSaf and dare I say it, King are our starting options. Saulo will be good but would like him to play a bit of Reserves before thrown in deep end, let him grow and mature.
This only highlights the need for a couple of middle forwards as we have Glasby replacing Lillyman and Heighinton from this year, improvement?

Well at the moment I'd take just about anyone, our front row at this stage is as weak as ****.

88, he is the sort of aggressive, dominating , experienced prop we should be looking for, but do we need his baggage .
Good buy if you could work out how to rein him in , maybe incentive or performance based

Should've had Hoffman in the 17, if that was the issue

A few of us flagged this a month or so ago, but apparently the club is targeting 'marquee props'

Nek Minute Vave was having a tour of the facilities :brickwall::brickwall::brickwall:

    Good get for the Tigers

Glasby was not the only Melbourne prop who got beltered in the opening half, Bromwich had similar stats and his considered one of the top props in the game. Glasby as someone said played limited minutes due to a rib injury and was on the field when the roosters had 70% of the ball.
