    Interesting exercise to do a statistical comparison of the respective spines for each club....noting that the actual make up of the spine, as selected by them, is contentious for some clubs

    Anyway - thought it might be interesting for comparison and discussion....

    KEY: P = points, T = tackles, TE = tackle efficiency, M = metres run, TA = try assists
    (Statistics from the 2017 season unless noted, averaged per game played)

    For mine Nutty, I subscribe to the Samuel Clements, better known by him nom dé plume Mark Twain, theory on 'Lies, damned lies and statistics'!

    Out of interest the guy visited Newie in the 1895 and described the then town as 'A depressing place with a hospital at one end of the main street, and a cemetery at the other.' The cemetery he referred to in those days was the site of the old Palais Royal and Young and Green Holden Dealers next to the Bellevue Hotel at the Bank Corner.
