I can't see us signing a player who was allegedly on 900k when we need a depth guy more for the halves instead of someone who wants to start.

For some reason I just had a flashback to the garbage fires in South St a few years back.

There is no way in the world he is coming here.
When we sure up the middle with more big boppers, Griffin/Levi one two punch, Sione and two large lads on bench!

Have always liked him as a player and his ability to break a game open when playing at his best and consistently, but he’s just been involved in too much crap off the field so it’d be a massive risk.

Troubled off the field, inconsistent on it. In saying that, he’s very talented and offers a lot when he’s on his game. Would make a nice halves pairing with Pearce too. Watson as utility off the bench. I’d be willing to roll the dice (depending on price). This could be a real wake up call for him. The reward could outweigh the risk.

Anytime you say it could outweigh its a pass. If it's a Will then yep.

Wasn't there a quote from Brownie (several weeks ago) saying he was a fan and they'd consider it? (but nothing serious)

    Comment from Browny:

When pressed on players the Club might be interested in, Brown was asked about Parramatta play-maker Corey Norman.

Speculation has run wild for weeks that the Eel could be on the move and the Knights are the latest club linked to him but the coach has dismissed the rumours.

"He's a very talented player who is on a really big wage," Brown said.

"I'd say at this stage, that's not a true rumour.

"Is he a talented player and would he help any organisation. He's a potential Origin player. I think he'd help any club."

With Sione re-signing, and the signings of Lee/Felise not affected their pursuit of Ferguson I highly doubt they are going after a spine utility player surely. Unless he takes a significant 50%+ paycut

Brown has always had a soft spot for Norman but i doubt he and Mooney will sign him unless Parra pay a massive chunk of his wage. I also heard somewhere that he may go to Canberra and Austin to Parra.
