Sione has 6-8 games on him as well.
The difference is he’s a footballer. Unlike Cogger and Lamb with zero ticker.
If the plan goes to script next season do we really need another playmaker? We have Ponga and Pearce.
He will only get better over time and as he matures. He’s offered more than any other half this season, unfortunately he can’t run the team, but neither could Cogger and Lamb, and I’ve seen more from Watson to suggest he will be staying put.
Packo stop talking sense lol.
He has played 4 more games
The secret to proving your point is to exaggerate.
Well if we are tbh, Conner has created those tries and assists, Sione was in the right place at the right time which isnt really a downer on either player.
I think Watson could have the same impact from other positions. He doesnt necessarily have to be a 5/8.
Im not sure what his best position is though.
Have we suddenly reached the salary cap and need to shop first grade standard players around to make space? From our half reserve grade quality team?
Epic lols from sporting news. He is just trolling with this one.
Hands up who thinks Mooney and Brown brought Watson here specifically to play 5/8 without knowing exactly what skillset he possessed!
Can someone buy Billy a soap box and set him up in Civic Park? Guess The Domain on a Sunday is a little far to travel!
The Lurker is at it again.
Talks about the abundance of talent we have in the halves lol.
I think they are drawing the conclusion that Ponga will be moving to 5/8 and therefore Watson is no longer needed.
Throw a line in the water with some bait and you are bound to catch a fish eventually.
Lend him yours
It ain't high enough Frank.
And it sags in the middlle from all these years of heavy use! Just like me.
We are in the market for a big halves signing!
Not many around, maybe Mitch knows somebody????????
It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how long it takes!
Another one struggling to accept that Watson is the number 6 in a fully fit side. Accept it and move on.
We'll win a premiership with Watson picking up the Clive Churchill and we'll still be hearing about it.
I personally like Watson and he will be in the halves for the remainder of the year!
But the poor game management during Pearce's absence highlighted the clubs need for more than one experienced half!
That in combination with Slade's injury means Watson to bench utility and us in the market for another experienced half!
Did i dumb it down enough for ya!
Blah blah blah!
Read above know it all!
Any club will struggle when their rep number 7 goes down even with the mighty Lamb in reserves as replacement.
Watson ain’t moving from number 6 not sure how thick you need to be to comprehend that. A utility number 14 is much easier to fill then a quality number 6.
Watson ain’t moving to the bench to fill a position of less value.
Is that dumbed down enough for you?
