Sydney - Most likely be an East/West divide

    Melbourne - Who cares.

Newcastle should have been given a team :(

    +1

I don't think its fair that Sydney & Melbourne each get 2 teams. However we don't really have a good enough cricket ground in Newcastle. There was some talk of Ausgrid stadium having drop in pitches but Id prefer them to be playing at a more cricket style oval. Number 1 sports ground could have been an option but the facilities there aren't really up to scratch eg lack of undercover seating, no video screen, poor toilet facilities. If any expansion it will probably go to Geelong or gold coast or possibly nz.

A while ago I decided to go for whichever Sydney team had more of my favourite players. The Thunder have made a good start - David Warner is my favourite player.

That's an awesome bowling attack for the Renegades.

And interesting Tait is playing for a Melbourne based side considering how he's played for SA Scorpians all this time.

First page updated, some teams completing their squads already.

The more interesting thing is why has he been playing for a womans team?

And is this just the normal big bash held in January? or something different?

 My bad, there is the womens cricket coming out in me! I mean Redbacks :p

Yeh - it's starting in December and going over January. Basically the same format as the normal big bash but obviously two extra teams and more international players.

Should be great. Both NSW and VIC have heaps of talent and large rosters as opposed to other states so it's fitting both have an extra team available to them.

The sixers are located at the SCG and are being considered the 'Eastern' Sydney side with the Thunder's home ground - ANZ Stadium... more towards the West.

Also, the Renegades are set to announce Afridi as their overseas player.

They seem to have gone all out with signing their big guns in Gayle, Warner and now Khawaja. But their depth will test them with most underated players heading to Sixers.

im liking the look of the Sixers. Perth looks like theyve signed all batsman. I'd say theyd wanna give the bowlers that they have something big to defend
