Nathan Brown said it perfectly, the team if they finish the spoon this year is miles ahead of the team that did last year.

19 point gap in the for and against now.

Very gettable if we happen to draw with them at the end.

We have a much tougher draw then the Tigs.

What does it matter? Winning the spoon means we are the first determined position of the fifteen that did not win the premiership.

Our motto from this day on should be 'Onwards and Upwards'!!!!

We still have to win another to avoid it and with the Eels, Storm, Raiders and Sharks to end our season I don't see where it comes from.

We have a decent record vs eels dont we? And have been fairly close or beat raiders last 2 seasons. I can see Storm resting players now theyre 4 points clear at the top too

    Raiders.

A win, a draw, a golden point loss in the last two years.

By the time we get to the Raiders, hopefully they will have lost one and be out of the finals race and incentive gone.

They have the Warriors next week then panthers. Then us... they win those 3 there in the finals.

Sorry guys but the Tigers have got one certain win left and that's against my mob.

They always find a way to beat us. So you will need a minimum 2 wins plus turning around the for and against difference.

No need to worry about them. Exceeded all expectations once both co captains were gone for the year. Enjoying the ride to an unexpected finals appearance.

Hopefully Manly can give the tigers a touch up on Sunday and put us clear of last place.

The boys should be getting a good boost in confidence going with the 3 wins on the trot and the away win. Hopefully they are learning what kind of commitment it takes to win in the NRL and are aiming up to that level now each week. Melbourne next, and then Canberra away which is another winnable one. If we put in for the 80 as we have been of late.

I would think if we can get one more win out of the last three, we have a fantastic chance of avoiding the spoon.

Dead even on For and Against now (-162)

I give us a chance against the Sharks who are on the slide and Raiders who are inconsistent

I reckon we will lose to the Storm but hopefully it's 1-12 and not a blowout

The Tigers may be a chance against the Cowboys and who knows what will happen against the Warriors

    Knights

    Round 24 - Storm (H)
    Round 25 - Raiders (A)
    Round 26 - Sharks (H)

    Tigers

    Round 23 - Sea Eagles (H)
    Round 24 - Roosters (A)
    Round 25 - Cowboys (H)
    Round 26 - Warriors (H)

I'm confident we can finish the rest of the year with no losses. If the boys keep having a crack in defence, footy games can go either way. You reckon Melbourne are due for a loss before the finals, sharks tiring and Canberra we have beaten already :newcastle::newcastle:

The Sharkies for sure Old Boys Day and maybe the Raiders if they lose this round. :applause:

Thank goodness Storm here they are getting every decision going their way penalties 9-3 at HT despite wrestling, and the refs have re-written the Penalty Try rules after tonight. Any race for the ball between two players and interference now must be ruled a penalty try. You can just bet Archer tomorrow will be telling us another correct decision.

Even though I agreed with him that this years team is miles better (even if they win the spoon), I liked that Brownie said he would be cheering for Penrith last Sunday, and I hope that's the case tommorow. And every week till the end of the regular season.
You can only control what's in front of you and we have certainly been doing that, but with that said what's the harm in hoping for a little bit of help from the universe and destiny as well? haha
