    From cricket.com.au

Mitch Marsh is the latest player to be sanctioned by the International Cricket Council during the spiteful Test series between Australia and South Africa, having given Kagiso Rabada a foul-mouthed spray after the spearhead dismissed him on day four in Port Elizabeth.

Marsh was been fined 20 per cent of his match fee and had one demerit point added to his record after being charged for a level 1 offence under 2.1.4 of the ICC's Code of Conduct that relates to “using language or gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an International Match.”

Both teams need a good kick up the arse, It's such a shame that these ugly incidents are overshadowing what has been a hard fought series so far

Here's a tip, How about you blokes concentrate on the cricket instead of the verbal warfare ??

Your representing your countries, Act in a manner befitting that honour

If Match Referee Jeff Crowe had jumped on this crap in Test One and suspended both Warner and de Kock that would have been the end of it all. Regardless what happens to the appeal, the agro will continue.

Maybe cousin Russell would have done a better job with his Gladiator gear on?

Poor decision but looking at it from another side means they have no excuse when we beat them.

I'm not sure how they came to that decision as the rules are clear and it's irrelevant how much contact was made

Rabada yelled, screamed and walked straight towards Smith

Anyway it's done now, Looking forward to the game

ICC Code of Conduct - Law 2.2.7 (Level 2 Offences)

Inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a Player, Player Support Personnel or any other Person (including a spectator) in the course of play during an International Match.

I am amazed Smith was not asked to give evidence, he said Rabada hit him harder than it looked.

Rabada was looking at Smith when he touched him and he made no attempt to avoid contact. It is clear Rabada meant to make contact with Smith.

Not a bad session considering we lost the toss

We kept it tight but SA are just 1 down
