    We'll get smashed.
The Sharks are a well drilled group of players who have been playing touch and working together for a long time. They look unbeatable this year.
I only saw 2 games this season - one was when the sharks destroyed us - can't see us improving enough to get within 30 or 40 of them.

Yeah the Sharks finished way ahead of everyone, Best attack and best defence by a big margin

To give you an idea the Steelers were the second best attacking team and they scored 480 points and the Sharks lowest score of the season was 46 points against fellow finalists the Tigers

Nobody will get close to the Sharks going on the regular season form

Not only have they been playing touch together for a long time, but they have been playing at the highest level together. Three of the Sharks girls have played both touch and Rugby 7s for Australia. There was also one more player who also played for Australia but she suffered a season ending knee injury. Funny thing is some of these players actually live on the Northern Beaches, yet Manly is the only Sydney based NRL team without a Tarsha Gale Cup side. They have stacked a side, certainly seems to be working though.

    TARSHA GALE CUP

The nib Newcastle Knights Tarsha Gale Cup team enter the first week of the finals after a strong debut season, finishing fourth overall with five wins and three losses.

The Tarsha Gale side have a host of great talent developed in the Knights' junior system, with left centre Skye Pullman equalling fourth in top point scorers for the season, with an impressive 86 points.

The side had an action-packed season, with four wins by a margin of over 30 points.

The girls had a few tough losses during the middle of the season, including a big loss to the competition leading Sharks.

However, the Knights finished strong with two wins in the final two rounds against the South Sydney Rabbitohs (46-12) and the Parramatta Eels (66-12).

The side will be in for a tough match coming up against minor premiers Cronulla Sharks this Saturday at Leichhardt Oval, 3pm. Head coach Josh Potapczyk has named his squad of 17 to face off against the undefeated Sharks.

wow - we lost 40-38, and it looks like we were ahead for the last 10 minutes till Cronulla scored a try on 58 minutes and a goal on 59.
We get a chance to play again next week, and with that form we might get another crack at Cronulla in the grandfinal, assuming they played a fullstength side (they might not have).

Looks like we will play either Penrith or Saints next week - both sides we beat easily during the season.

I suspect Cronulla rested half their squad this week. It's the only way to explain the result, although we have been steadily improving all season.

What about the field goal by the Tigers to win their game? Wasn't under enormous pressure I'll admit but I've seen easier shots missed in the NRL.
