Both Captains wanted to bowl first as not sure how it will play. Luck of the toss.

Really good bowling display from Australia especially Tye

Not sure what a par score is but I originally thought 280-300

There is something there with the new ball but overall looks a good wicket for batting

I think England will be a bit disappointed with that total considering they were 2/151 after 26 overs and early on were going at 8-9 an over thanks to Roy

Not sure how we blew it but we did

4/188 in the 33rd over to all out 247 in the 48th over

    Disappointing is an understatement

The difference is all rounders and no specialist batsmen, 5-11 not a full time batsmen, we are at least a batsman short, too many all rounders, even our 3 was an all rounder but he at least did well.

We did struggle at the top of the order. Warner had a terrible series - about 70 runs from the five games - Steve Smith not much better - Cameron White hopeless - Travis Head had one good game. Aaron Finch was easily our best but getting muscle bound nin the gym is a sure fire way to damage the hammies. Ask Shane Watson.

Blame the T20 Frank. We see England perform great at the shorter game but pretty poor at Test level. Seems you can't have both.
