Only 3 specialist bowlers for Australia with Stoinis, Marsh and probably Head making up the rest of the overs

    Paine out due to illness

Looking at the teams I don't have much hope of winning this one, Hopefully I'm wrong

Fifty up without loss into the 9th over, so maybe a good base for a 340-350 score. I think we can roughie. Cummins bowled pretty short and wild Sunday.

We will need 350 minimum on this deck I reckon, The closer to 400 the better

Well we are unlikely get it. Absolute disgrace allowing just ordinary spinners Moeen Ali and Joe Root to absolutely dominate proceedings. One would think they are bowling hand grenades.

Between them, they have bowled now 9 overs and have 3/27, taking all three wickets. Travis Head needs to head right out as he seems to have no idea at the moment.

I think we are well short of what we needed especially with our weakened bowling lineup

We were 1/110 after about 19 overs, We finished on 9/270 so in around 31 overs we lost 8/160

    Finch was great again

Warner, Marsh and Carey all looked ok but and got starts but didn't go on

The rest were poor especially White who looked out of his depth with no timing, poor running and poor shot selection

England should chase this down easily

I can't see us beating England in any of games in this ODI series, they are a class above us at present

White was not good, he is better than he showed but younger player would be better option, Head seems lost asto what he should be/do, Maxwell is a better choice.
Find a number 3 and Smith to four then find a five (Maxwell) and then tell Mitch M to get stuck in and tear them apart. Play a fair dinkum spinner and three quicks, with Marsh and Maxwell to share otherb10 overs and hope that they all click and perform.

This would have been a pretty tight game ~ if the Poms had not bowled better than us and then batted better than us!

Garry is the best spinner in the country and can not get a jumper whilst Hohns persist with thinking Travis Head and Aaron Finch are. Finch is in great batting form if only we could get a couple mof guys to stay with him.

That's a much better team for Australia

Hopefully with more time at the crease White can get going

Smith taking a different approach by bowling, Lets see if it pays off

Happier with this team, Smith at four, White deserves a chance in top order, Head deserved to go due to poor results bowling and batting, pace attack looks good, Paine back as wicketkeeper but Carey was good I thought.

Have to be the most stupidest bowling attack I've seen from the quicks. Short and fast will always lead to 6 or 4.

Sh**house from Australia in the last 15 overs !! :fist:

We had them in trouble at 6/189 after 38 overs and they ended up getting to 6/302 FFS

    Good luck chasing that....Very disappointing

Long, long time since I have seen such an inept performance in the field from an Aussie team in any form of cricket. Catches dropped, run outs can't hit stumps, bowlers too short and wide.

In addition, 13 wide and 1 no balls. Over two free overs and 14 runs. The Poms were inm huge trouble at 4/112 and still made over 300!

Warner needs to go from the one day side. He is over the hill.
