If a player is penalised and then marched 10metres does that go down as 1 or 2 penalties? random thought whilst watching the game

Just too good. Cowboys pack has been very poor to start the season. Scott, McLean, Taumalolo and Hess have been sub standard defensively.

Don't rate McLean at all. He isn't worth the coin he is on.

By far the best pack on paper. Just not showing it yet. Scott and JT still a bit rusty. They will come good by the business end of the year. Hess was good in attack.

It didnt help that the game never rolled on at all, i think it was a penalty every 4 minutes which kills your packs ability to grind away and dominate like they usually do.
Probably should of givrn Morgs another week or two as well.

Thought JT has started the season fairly well. Scott's carries have been good but his defence is shocking.

Hess has struggled with his defence ever since origin last year. To much ark grabbing. Just unacceptable for a guy his size.

The penalties are absurd. Way to many penalties for inside the ten by both sides. Send someone in the bin. That will stop sides from doing the same infringement throughout the game.

If there was no danger of Morgan making the injury worse then it was better for him to get a run. He generally starts the season slow so get him running and match fit asap.

    krusty note well.

Footy is not played on paper. The Cowgirls just lack a little commitment but Greenie will whip them into shape. And they have had a rough draw. Sharkies, Doncs and Storm, the last two away games.

I just had a look through the first 2 rounds and last night's game

I don't think I have ever seen the average amount of penalties per game so high

We have had already had 6 games in which 20 penalties or more were given

Check out the penalty count in the Tigers vs Storm game, Just a bit lopsided

    Round 1

    Dragons (9) vs Broncos (7) - 16 penalties
    Knights (11) vs Sea Eagles (9) - 20 penalties
    Cowboys (10) vs Sharks (6) - 16 penalties
    Tigers (9) vs Roosters (6) - 15 penalties
    Rabbitohs (11) vs Warriors (7) - 18 penalties

    Bulldogs (9) vs Storm (4) - 13 penalties
    Panthers (10) vs Eels (8) - 18 penalties
    Titans (7) vs Raiders (4) - 11 penalties

    Round 2

    Sharks (8) vs Dragons (12) - 20 penalties
    Roosters (9) vs Bulldogs (9) - 18 penalties
    Broncos (5) vs Cowboys (11) - 16 penalties
    Warriors (8) vs Titans (8) - 16 penalties
    Panthers (13) vs Rabbitohs (9) - 22 penalties
    Storm (18) vs Tigers (8) - 26 penalties
    Sea Eagles (12) vs Eels (10) - 22 penalties

    Raiders (12) vs Knights (7) - 19 penalties

    Round 3

    Storm (11) vs Cowboys (9) - 20 penalties

Total Penalties So Far - 306

Average Penalties Per Game - 18

    Total Sin Bins - 7

I think Panthers will win comfortably but not by a big score margin.
22-12 but hardly getting out of 4th gear to do so.
