If the Roosters play like they did last week they will smash the Broncos, Here's hoping anyway...

Souths were really impressive against the Dragons so I don't see the Cowboys winning but this year is so unpredictable

They are literally doing the same thing as last week yet are getting pinged galore. Very inconsistent

That's Parra done for the year, They currently sit last with 2 wins and 9 losses

Who would've predicted that pre-season....

Too true. After watching the trial where they spanked us, I was fearing the worst.

Cannot believe this donkeys game............ Napa goes to the bin somehow........ And they win...... Joke.

Absolute bullshi* call

Sims changed direction and it was a fuc*ing head clash FFS

Let that sink in everyone, We have seen a player sent to the bin for a fuc*ing head clash

It shoudn't have even been a penalty let alone a sin bin

Once again the Broncos get the calls and win a game they shouldn't have

But don't worry because Gerard Sutton's brother is the refs boss so no repercussions for him

Called it weeks ago when they got the win over the tigers that the Broncos are dead average but will sit around 8th thanks to the refs help. That’s now 3 calls in 3 games that has directly lead to them winning all three games so far this year. Plus add in the 5m forward pass and the goalpost in the cowboys game as that’s 4 games that many other teams wouldn’t get the calls or luck to win.

Such a arsey club.

Once again guys!

The Doncs must win Thursday/Friday nights to boost Channel 9 advertising and revenue. Pure and simple.,

Just another bit of info for everyone, That was the Broncos 15th straight win at Suncorp under Sutton

Yep and they currently sit 9th on 12 points, They should be with the Eels down the bottom

Watching Bennett celebrate made me fuc*ing sick

The Broncos must be one of the worst fringe top 8 teams in recent memory much like the warriors are one of the worst top 4 teams from recent times

Funny you should say that, interesting to compare what you are using as a guide.
Broncos fringe 8 worst in memory doesn't say much for teams 9+ and Warriors worst top 4 not memory but recent times but they keep winning and beaten a few good teams, I'm guessing but not a fan of either?

THE NRL will launch an investigation into why two Manly players were allowed back from the sin bin before the required 10 minutes at AAMI Park on Saturday night.

Confusion reigned and Melbourne was seething after the NRL’s official timekeeper allowed Api Koroisau and Matthew Wright (who was subbing in for injured Dylan Walker) back on the field after eight minutes and 19 seconds, as confirmed by Fox Sports vision.

Storm football manager Frank Ponissi was blowing up at the official mid-game, and Andrew Voss told Fox Sports the Storm boss Dave Donaghy had called NRL big wigs Todd Greenberg and Brian Canavan before the game had ended to lodge a complaint.

The governing body released a statement soon after full time.

Extraordinarily, the statement appears to pin the blame on the two clubs involved.

“The NRL will conduct a full review of the timing of the dismissals and the process,” an NRL statement read.

“The responsibility of the timing for sin binsis held by the clubs, although in this instance, it appears there were no club supplied sin bin operators present at the venue.”

Storm coach Craig Bellamy admitted he didn’t fully understand the situation, and he would leave the official proceedings up to club management.

CONTROVERSY has spoiled a thriller at AAMI Park in Melbourne as Storm officials blow up over an apparent error from the NRL timekeepers.

And it’s been suggested the Sea Eagles could even be docked the two points earned from the victory.

Melbourne’s football manager Frank Ponissi was caught on camera blowing up at an NRL official on the sideline during a frantic second half on Saturday night.

The theme of Ponissi’s gripe was two Manly players seemingly being given the green light to return to the field after being sin binned during a melee earlier.

Ponissi believed the two sin bins had been ended prematurely.

Storm boss Dave Donaghy called Brian Canavan and Todd Greenberg while the game was still in process to demand an explanation, according to Fox Sports commentator Andrew Voss.

A sin bin runs for 10 minutes, but Fox Sports vision showed the two Manly players were allowed to return to the field after eight minutes and 19 seconds in the bin.

Api Koroisau and Dylan Walker were the players binned for their part in the stink, which also saw Melbourne centre Curtis Scott sent off for belting Walker.

Walker did not return as he was also undergoing a head injury assessment, which requires 15 minutes off the field.

But Koroisau and Matthew Wright were allowed to return to play.

Fox League panellist and Queensland coach Kevin Walters conceded it could mean Manly is even docked competition points.

But Greg Alexander said the onus should completely be on the NRL and its officials.

“The NRL owns the sideline. They own the clock and they own everything that happens on the sideline,” Alexander said.

“I don’t know what happens now.”
