So all the "bracing myself" shoulder charges will have to be let off in the near future.

They have got it wrong again

While I'm all for common sense and revisiting the laws under the current laws it was a shoulder charge

What the Judiciary have effectively done is say this was not a shoulder charge and Billy was just bracing which is complete and utter bullshit

Slater is a grub, His club are scum and I really hope he ends his career with a loss....It would be well deserved

Unbelievable really. Every shoulder charge at the judiciary from now on will play the Slater footage. And any hint of a hand involvement they will get off.

Way to not have any balls at all judiciary. Cowards.

Slater is worth 100k more people watching in a year when we have out rated AFL for the first time in 15 years and have a chance to outrate them in the grandfinal if Melbourne tunes in for the game.
He has to play, and over 600k people in Melbourne have to watch for the first time.

It was always going to be not guilty. Last game of the year and they will adjust the rule so this cant be used as a precedence next year. No brainer. For the record it was a text book shoulder charge. And the whole rubbish about Feki never changes his line is rubbish. The try he scored against knights last year, or whenever, that i looked at ,he squared up at the line. Only footage i looked at, but would be confident it wasnt the only time.

It sets a dangerous precedent for sure

For the record Sean Garlick, Bob Linder and Mal Cochrane were the Judiciary members

3 former players with no idea what a shoulder charge is apparently

The shoulder charge rule should never have been changed in the first place.

    Hope Melbourne get flogged though.

Slater has always been a protected species, so this is not surprising at all - wrong, yes...but not surprising.

With Cooper Cronk sustaining a 'severe' left shoulder rotator cuff injury, there is no way he is going to be right for the GF this weekend...and that is going to make it very tough for the Chooks, even with Mitchell and Napa back on deck.

I'd love to say Chooks, just to stick it to Slater, Smith and co. but with Cronk highly likely to be out, they are really up against it on Sunday and it's likely a bridge too far

    chooks could be foxing.
Robbo is capable of it - and why wouldn't he.
Everyone thought Cronk was serious, so if he came back with just a knock, why not say "severe" and name him at 21, and run him out fully fit on the day.

He's signed for one of the real NRL clubs - can't remember which.

Signed for Maitland his junior club along with Amey.

Had a solid game but was partly responsible for both of Cleeland’s tried just before half time.

He’s out there coaching. Keary is killing it! Loving it!! I have a $50 on Radley to score and Roosters 1-12. Not looking good on either front right now! But pleased to see the Storm getting belted. Particularly Slater!!
