Well on his 2017 performance he never earned the big bucks he got paid so now he moves on to more lucrative endeavours.

His manager will be pleased and so should the Warriors.

    Wow wtf

There goes the Panthers shot at the title in 2018. Something must have happened because Cartwright is some sort of player. Arguably the best attacking forward in the game

I haven’t made my mind up on him yet. I’ve seen him have some shocking games and some crackers. See how this season pans out.

Looks like Brennan has a fair bit of pull.

Yeah Cartwright hasn't reached a consistency yet, but nevertheless, it seems like an exodus of the Panthers' first group of good juniors that came through after Gould took over. Some of the key guys that were meant to lead them to their next premiership. Can never know if Cleary would have taken them all the way, but it was a shocking decision to replace him with Griffin & I bet he has something to do with this.

Hes the same age as King, of course you've seen him have shlt games. He took Penrith all the way to the qualifiers in 2016 playing like an Aus rep 5/8th

If we treated him like King, he would be the greatest thing ever to do anything ever, at any point, of all time, anywhere

What's with your constant reiteration of King? Sounds like you're hating on him.

Also one of the worst defensive forwards in that game. He’s not a huge loss imo. Penrith will have a good year with or without him.

Make no mistake. I still think he is an average prop. And i think this forum is making more of him than reality can support. Just wont bash the kid, he tries hard

I put King, Fitzy and Lamb in the same basket ie only time will tell if a handful of good games at the back end of last year was a flash in the pan or not.

I put Fitzy and King in the same basket. I dont think Fitzy will get another contract at the Knights, and I dont think he'll be in the 17 beyond 2018. People get carried away by a handful of good runs, while overlooking how deficient/lackluster he is for a 23 year old in other areas. I love his aggression. But that's about it

Same with King. I like the fact that he wants to hurt people. But his hitups aren't anything to fear and he makes technical errors in defense, like a lot. At least that I notice.

Not saying these guys cant improve. I just think they've about reached their ceilings at 22/23 and they're still fringe first graders at any good club. Why else did we only offer Fitzy a 1 year contract??

Lamb on the other hand has more to offer the club, immediately and longer term

Agreed Levr, but the two big boys are young for forwards and just maybe the penny will drop and the light come on and dramatic improvement will occur, they at least have a whole season to make an impression and cement a spot, let's give them that chance, as for Lamb, just as young but backs seem to come along earlier, he is already an ok player with still some more improvement. As for the two forwards they at least give it a go, can't ask much more.
