    I agree

Winning the comp won’t improve the culture.

But improving the culture will improve the chances of winning the comp.

Cultures only questioned at clubs that dont win premierships.

Those performance kpi's wont say win the comp in 3 or your out.

More likely they will have stipulations like make be in contention for finals, make the finals etc.

I agree the time to start winning more games is now and if the team cant do that Brown is in trouble.

But winning games now should not be at the expense of setting the club up as a consistent performer. Imo bringing pearce here would be more about saving Browns job vs sticking to his original plan for the club.

So are you questioning the culture at the knights? The players have repetitively come out and said the culture between the group, coaching staff and board is superior. So what's the trump card?

i didnt say it wasnt good, im just saying culture doesnt get questioned when your winning comps and have success. for the sake of your argument i cant recall any player or playing group publicly stating their current club culture is poor.

We've tried to buy a premiership and it didn't work.

I'll trust anything Brown is doing for the time as the club has come leaps and bounds to where it was 3 years ago, even though on the surface it still says 3 wooden spoons.

He has had this car wreck turn up every week and give everything they have.

Now he's finally getting some pieces together I have no doubt we will push the 8 or make it.

I think we get attached to certain players and have soft spots for them, instead of Doing what's best for the club.

I'm not a Pearce fan but I am a Brown fan, and he makes a good point about him being young still and players are playing much longer these days.

What a grosse exaggeration and ridiculous line of thinking we have a spine of under 21's the most important positions on the park, any coach would be mad not to try to bring in someone senior to take the pressure off them and guide them.

    Hardly buying a premiership.

@Kurriboy your saying we should not buy a premiership winning half who is only 28 who would make us more consistent now because a local junior (who i do rate highly) has a mortgage on the number 7 jersey. How is signing pearce not setting up the club for success? Whats to say in 3-4 yrs time another local half comes along and is a class above lamb, do we stay loyal to lamb then??
if all these young players develop and kick on like we all hope we wont be keeping all of them in 3 years time anyway.

Just a thought, if ponga gets injured who plays fullback? Do we move Watson back and play cogger? (Presuming no pearce)

Your memory is no good then. Klemmer re dogs, hayne re titans being bad, ash Taylor re titans being good, Dce re manly bad then good now. Plenty of guys questioning their own clubs. How true or not is anyone's guess.

Sorry Billy he was completely inadequate. He is a winger. Watson, Phythian, Meaney.

As a fullback and centre the dawg makes a great winger.
