Sorry to sound like Nickwpeace but Christ this is the most inept performance I've ever seen from a side in a Semi Final at any level. Woolford should make them walk home.

If Pasami and Starling played holden cup they would have one. Were they not able to play U20's?

One of those games where nothing goes right.
I thought Brodie Jones was close to our best, which is good to see in his 3rd game of seniors I think.

Was a very disappointing effort, I never thought we were going to score, credit to warriors they played very well. Can't think of anyone as a stand out for knights man of the match, possibly Robson. I had to force myself to watch it all, tough night.

Feeney was woeful. Glad Browny hasn't offered him another deal. Shocking all round performance though.

I'm keen to see the stats for this game.
Brodie Jones seemed to do a mountain of defensive work - i'll be surprized if he didn't top our tackle count, and i'd say this is the first time he was played the warriors at any level, since he only has a handful of NYC games and 3 in reserve grade.

Mickey Paea was about the only one worth feeding after last nights' game...

Meaney made the NSW residents side, the NSW under 20s side, and it was down to him and the Wyong fullback for fullback of the year according to commentators.
He just doesn't look strong enough yet, but another pre season should fix that.
Cogger only played a handful of games, so making the list for try assists was outstanding.
I thought Hughes would end up an ordinary second rower after last year, so moving him to the wing has been an inspired move.
Pat Mat must be close to earning his stripes as a forward.

Competition for spots is looking good, Meaney and Phythian will be vying for that reserve grade spot.

    The plan they were talking about was;
    1 NYC to fold.
2 Qld cup and NSW cup to both expand to 16 clubs (32 in total).
3 Each NRL club to partner with 2 clubs in either the NSW cup or Qld cup, or 1 in each.
4 20s to go back to being a junior comp like Mathews and Ball.

As far as I can see no one is making any moves to create these 8 new sides for the lower grades, so maybe they'll do that over a few years.

A NSW and QLD comp would be so awesome, tbh I think reserve grade should've always been national. U20's doesn't seem that necessary financially for the level of quality in NSW and QLD cup.

New set up makes sense, reserves/cup have many quality players yet under present scheme can often be playing remote from 1sts. Natural progression, u/20 to reserves to 1sts yet it seemed like u/20 was rated higher. Would have seemed odd starring in u/20 at a major ground then getting promoted to reserves to play at Cessnock for example.

What would make sense to me is have reserve grade play the same fixtures as 1sts in a nation wide comp. the curtain raiser so to speak

Especially good from the coaching staff to see potential first graders performing, especially injured ones coming back and good for players to know they are in the mix and being looked over
