Considering our 2 spoons relative to other clubs we have done very very well. The warriors are a 1 country club and considering the Panthers, Sharks, and Cowboys on field success of late their numbers are very woeful.

Geez - that is pretty sad for the Sharks as team that has taken its first premiership in the clubs' history to be languishing at 12th below us.

Happy to see the numbers for the Knights though8)

How many memberships did the sponsor buy ? Our supporters are said to be loyal what about the Eels ? 15 000 members after the couple of seasons they've had.

They should have offered 50% off for people renewing after 2016 and what is to come in 2017.

    Knights are 11,000 strong

    Fri 3rd February, 04:23PM

The nib Newcastle Knights has passed the 11,000 Member mark, one month earlier than last season.

With a month still to go before the 2017 season kicks off, 2017 is looking promising for Membership as supporters of the red and blue continue to show their loyalty.

The Club would like to thank the 11,189 wonderful Members that have so far signed up.

Prices start at just $30 with the 30th year Membership, which includes such benefits as your own patch of Sacred Ground, discounts on match day tickets and merchandise, discounts on food and beverages at McDonald Jones Stadium, discounts at the Club Shop and free entry to Member events throughout 2017.

A new Country Membership has also been launched recently, providing great value for regional supporters.

Membership matters and there has never been a more important time to get behind your team.

Could not be happier with the effort and brilliant customer service from JANE at the knights store over the last few days!

    I now have all 3 2017 jerseys
    2 new knights hats
    A grey knights T
Full track suit kit and tracky shorts
And gold member again for the 14th yr in a row

Gave me a $74 discount and contacted me every day to let me know how the order was going and when it would be ready.

I also had good customer service from them, When they changed the layout at games for members and made the seats at either end of the grand stand for general entry tickets, they were very helpful with relocating my seats, and we even added 3 more seats to our group and they were great with helping locate new seats for us.

I'm wondering if the Mark McGowan who might be premier of WA in a few days is the same Mark McGowan who is a brother of former Knights sponsor and director Gerry McGowan.
Mark McGowan was born and raised in Newcastle, and Gerry McGowan has a brother named Mark, but I can't work out if it's the same guy.
I don't know what good it will do us if he is, but it couldn't hurt if he is a Knights fan.
