In the wars the big fella. Ah Well paea might get some more minutes.
Has to get big minutes, roosters pack I rate highly, will be tough, bench will no doubt be heavily involved, barring injury I expect 14-17 to play at least 30mins plus.
Sio only listed at 20 and not in reserves, doubts about SKD??? just asking

The silence on the result of Ross's X-ray is not a good sign.
Anyhow, confirmed Ross has a fractured back.
Yet another fullback injury for us, how long will that keep him out for, rest of season surely! But what is the recovery time for this type of injury.
Transverse process are the bits of bone that grow out of the vertebrae - so it's like breaking a rib in seriousness. He'll probably be up and about with only a bit of pain in a very short time and be fit for pre season I expect.
Would love to see Meaney get 1 game this year to get a taste. We don't need him SKD or Elliot probably covers it just looking to the future.

That's a shame, Heres hoping for a speedy recovery
According to NBN News last night, Nathan Ross could be a chance to play in round 26!
You gotta ask relic what is the point in that?
Let the guy make a complete recovery.
Absolutely zero point.
That would be silly, let him recover.
No reason he shouldn't play if he feels up to it.
It's not a bone that serves any purpose other than to form a protective cage around the spine, and even if he got another hit in the same spot, it would just hurt a lot and not do any structural damage.
What's the point? We don't have anything to play for. Let him recover and get a full pre season under his belt.
Latest reports say next year!
Pythian going in for (what I think) is the second surgery on his knee today. 6-7 months recovery so will miss all the pre-season.
Wonder if the Knights still see Dr Caldwell. Saw Mullo in his rooms once or twice.
Do you know whether this second op was always the plan, or has there been some sort of complication? If he were to miss the entire pre-season, that's a whole 12 months (obviously) from the injury.
There was an article in the herald a while ago saying the first op was only an arthroscopy (cleaning up the knee) which is common after you have had a ACL repair previously, and that he wouldn't have the full recon until August. So it was planned in that sense
