    Given how far away the World Cup is, I'm sure by then Hayne wouldn't be picked on name if he's played bad all season. And knowing the player he is, I'm sure by then he'll have proven himself good enough to be able to nail down a measly wing/centre spot.

    Team changes for All Stars game

    Paul Vaughan (St George Illawarra Dragons), Akuila Uate (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles), Damien Cook (South Sydney Rabbitohs) and Mitchell Aubusson (Sydney Roosters) have been called into the World All Stars squad ahead of the Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars.

    The quartet will replace Nate Myles, Konrad Hurrell, Adam Reynolds and Jake Trbojevic, who have been ruled out of the match through injury.

    Bevan French (Parramatta Eels), Tyrone Roberts (Gold Coast Titans) and Chris Smith (Sydney Roosters), have also been brought into the Indigenous All Stars squad for the match, at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on Friday, 10 February.

    The Indigenous All Stars trio will replace Sam Thaiday and Adam Elliott, who have been ruled out through injury.

    Will Chambers has withdrawn due to the impending arrival of his first child.

    The day before the All Stars (Thursday 9th) there will be the jersey presentation for the All Stars Game and 2 games at No.2 Sportsground

    The first game is NSW Indigenous under 16s vs QLD Indigenous under 16s followed by the Redfern All Blacks vs the Cherbourg Hornets

    Jarrod Croker (Canberra Raiders), Chris McQueen (Gold Coast Titans) and Gerard Beale (Cronulla Sharks) have been called into the World All Stars squad ahead of the Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars.

    The trio will replace Joseph Leilua, Jarryd Hayne and Sosaia Feki, who have been ruled out of the match through injury.

    That World All Stars team is looking laughably weak now. Those ain't no all stars. I enjoy the games but maybe time to pull the plug before it becomes even more farcical.

    It really is a joke. If the Indigenous All Stars don't dominate that team then I'll be astounded. The concept was good for the first 2-3 years but now everyone seems to pull out through "injury" and whatnot. They need to either scrap it or change up the concept from World All Stars to something entirely different.
