Best fall in line then buddy
Heaps and his best position
I respectfully disagree.
The NRL won't force the Knights to sack him. And the Knights can if they chose to, but appear to be looking after him. Anyway, that is all I wish to say on this any further.
A handful of games in NYC - his first game of NYC he played halfback in place of an injured Feeney, and was pretty much MOTM.
Having said that, he played all through the juniors with Cogger as his partner, and they spread the workload in a way that meant their positions were interchangeable.
I have memories of Mullen trying to play no. 7...
In that case- he and bird would be a pretty spectacular young halves pairing and I'll be a bit shattered if he doesn't come.
Hopefully thornborough is right and either way we're put out of our misery soon.
Still 95% sure that we're already out of the equation.
It aint the end of the world,
Jack Coggar is a brilliant player and will come along very well once his back on the field.
U cant judge a 18yr old half in our 2016 side... @Billy could provide us with hours of brilliant moments
To quote your earlier post, Brisbane doesn't make a heap of sense. I'm not convinced that we're out of it yet. He seems to be a kid who thinks long and hard before making a decision and I still think Newcastle ticks a lot of boxes. Time will tell but I'm not too bothered by the media's about face because the last couple of weeks have proven they have NFI.
Cogger didn't play for NSW at 16's, 18's and 20's, as well as Australian Schoolboys for no reason, and he was captain of many of those sides.
Has a sportsperson been fired from a club anywhere in the world before going through the correct process with the drug testing agency, ever? There's your answer.
Oh great, more mod bagging. We try extremely hard to prevent threads on here to turn into "slanging matches" as you put it. If you have a problem with a particular thread or post then please report it to us and we will take action if required!
Not a great intro, we want this to be a friendly forum where everyone can state their opinion without being shot down for it, and put everything we have into making that actuality.
All we get is constant criticism for it and told that we're rubbish. So over it!
I see Gus Gould has thrown up his internal draft idea again. What are peoples thoughts?
It's not like the external draft in the AFL where juniors get drafted to a club, but it's only for players putting themselves on the market during the year.
E.g. if Jack Bird wants to change clubs and puts a million dollars a year on himself, we get first pick over anyone else. If we don't want him than 15th place would get next chance.
Anyone think that would work? It would certainly stop the lower clubs being blown out of the water by the $$$ on offer at the bigger clubs
We're not travelling good enough to pass on a player like Hoffman. We'd be mad not to throw our hat in the ring.
When sandor earl is allowed to come, back we should offer him a contract for the rest of the year on the wing

I don't see the big deal in threads going off topic or the odd slanging match going on. There's no swearing or personal insults so play on.
No no no...
We've got too many wingers and Earl has gained muscle during his suspension which in my honest opinion, too heavy to play on the wing, would be a good pick up at center or Lock/Second row.
Can't see it happening in NRL. Ever.
On bird. It appears the Broncs want to play him at lock.
Considering Bird wants 5/8, why the hell would he sign there for less money, and for a position he doesn't want.
Just reading the idea is to move Boyd to half, and play Bird at fullback.
