Ur talkin ship lord... tapine got dropped to reggies after signing then the rlpa stepped in and he got the release to go earn 200k more a yr!
Leilua was doing everything possible to get the same result as he got 100k more from canberra as well.

Tariq wanted a new deal as he had 10mths left on his contract with us, brown wouldnt offer a new deal at that time and the dragons offered him better money so he asked for a release and it got granted...

And he took the Sharks deal over the roosters because it was for an extra year. If he had of stayed on at the chooks he'd be off contract.

Might be nice to target someone who isn't contracted for 2018 and doesn't have to live in Sydney. Just a thought.

If he lost 10kg he mite go better, but i personally think his ship,
At 24.5tks and 77.3m a game in 36mins averaged his not fit enough or strong enough for a nrl gig.

Get him fitter and stronger and he mite be a good cup prop and leader for the young guys.

Starling tries his hardest, and what he delivers is the best he has to give, which isn't enough.
We do look very short of middle forwards next year, with only the Saifiti's, Barnett and Josh King signed at this stage, so he might get a contract as a squad player.

Has Gagan actually been injured this year? I can't remember if he has but we should at least give him a chance. It's easy to say release him because most people have barely seen him play. It's not his fault we haven't had many injuries in the backs this year. Keep him for depth, if he gets a long run in NRL & proves himself to be bad, or gets injured a lot, get rid of him.

It would be enough if he was the last forward picked on the bench behind all others who make 100m a game like he was at his other clubs. We're a club where if a forward makes 100m, they're a legend.
