I'm going to day 3 of this test, so the poms better lift their game, so they can make the end of day 3 at least.

Statement from Cam Bancroft regarding the headbutt incident, Sounds like it's been blown way out of proportion by the media

I am expecting one change for Adelaide, Sayer to replace one of our three quicks, Hazelwood most likely if all fit.

Smith has already said we will going with the same XI as the first test

Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood all got through practice today and unfortunately for the poms are ready to go

I think those 3 are gonna tear England apart ;)

Thanks for info, thought they might try rotation and Sayers is a Adelaide player who has been in good form and close to selection previously, reason for my comment.

I thought the same mate especially as Chadd has been the leading wicket-taker last Sheffield shield season and won Player of the Year

He took 62 wickets at an average of 19 in the 2016/2017 Sheffield Shield...The next best was Jon Holland with 50 wickets at just a tick under 21

Just looking at the 3 previous Day/Night tests Australia has played

Starc and Hazlewood have taken 34 wickets in 3 games between them and we have won all 3 games

The other Aussie quicks in those 3 games (Mitch Marsh, Peter Siddle, Jackson Bird) took 14 wickets between them so overall our pacemen have taken 48 wickets in 3 games

    That's 48 wickets out of a possible 60

Just think about that for a moment and then add Cummins (Who for me is a better bowler than Siddle, Marsh and Bird) to Starc and Hazlewood and it's a recipe for a massacre I reckon

    November 2015 vs New Zealand

Mitchell Starc - 3/24 and DNB
    Josh Hazlewood - 3/66 and 6/70

    November 2016 vs South Africa

    Mitchell Starc - 2/78 and 4/80
    Josh Hazlewood - 4/68 and 2/41

    December 2016 vs Pakistan

    Mitchell Starc - 3/63 and 4/119
    Josh Hazlewood - 3/22 and 0/99

Joe Root has won the toss and will bowl first

Overcast conditions and there will be swing

Looking back on the previous day/night test here Australia made 224 and 7/187 while NZ made 202 and 208

    Similar scores here perhaps ??

Australia's day after being sent in by Joe Root

I was thinking after seeing conditions before play that 250-300 would be a good score and Australia are on track

The new ball was taken by England for 1 over before stumps and there was some serious swing there so if Australia can get 300 that will put them in a great position
