Really weak England squad. We're a different team at home and their middle order will be extremely vulnerable against our quicks. Warner, Smith and Khawaja should pile on the runs aswell.

Australia will win 4-0 or 4-1.

Nearly right mozza ~ we are the different team to what we were two years ago. For mine England sadly are stronger all around the oval. Agree about our quicks are better if we ever get them playing together.

You never know what will happen in ashes series.
We have had some very strong sides who could hardly win a game, and sides that looked very weak who won easily.
You just have to wait for the first game to see which side is firing, because both England and Australia are very hot and cold, and it always seems to be that way.
It's probably what makes the ashes interesting - that predictions are almost always way off the mark.

Not a chance. They only have 5 or 6 decent players and most of them have poor records over here or are past it. I'm only worried about Root and Stokes if he plays. Cook, Anderson and Broad are past it and Ali is a pie thrower who will get found out by our short pitched bowling.

Time will tell mozza. I think Australian Cricket took a huge backward step with Hohns being re-appointed.

Agreed. I don't think we're in a particularly good place at the moment. England just look so terrible on paper and we do usually grown an extra arm and leg at home (as does everyone though) so I can't see us losing especially if we can get Hazlewood, Cummins and Starc fit and ready.

I think our side is mostly in place barring injuries, numbers 3, 6, w/k, are most doubtful.
For mine they are Kwajah?, Maxwell and Nevill.
Sorry spelling of Kwajah but he is the top No.3 if you play Smith at four, Maxwell because he gives you that something and can bowl some overs along with brilliant fielding, Nevill is best keeper and can bat as good as any of the others, Wade has failed to nail it might be best at 20 and 50 overs but not test.

For mine Yes to Maxie, but not at five where Hanscomb has played reasonably well. So with Maxie at 6, Nevill at 7, leaves room for three pace bowlers and one spinner. Sadly we do lack a medium pace all rounder nwhich would see us bat down nto m7 or 8.

It's called the glorious uncertainty of cricket and it's also why cricket is such a great game.

Unfortunately Maxie is still too inconsistent and has brain explosion s. I think Stonis is our long term no. 6, he bowls seam up which is more useful on Australian pitches.

Agreed Lefty. It is a big drop alas from Starc and Hazelwood to Stoinis. Maybe Cummins for Lyon in in Brisbane and Perth

How many chances are the selectors going to give Shaun Marsh?
