Well done on a fantastic season boys, You have done your selves and the club proud !!

We couldn't take out the premiership but just to make the Grand Final is a great achievement !!

Also well done to the Panthers, Thoroughly deserving premiers !!

Ah well, better luck next year. Had no kicking game by the sounds of it, Dobbo must have been more important to this team than first thought. Good to hear Vaivai still went well, if he stays injury free he's going to have a massive 2015, atleast for a guy who was only really considered a NSW Cup player a few months ago anyway, i didn't even rate him at the start of this year!

Dobson was definitely a huge loss, I thought he had a great second half to the season in NSW Cup.

So disappointing, but Penrith only lost four games all year and deserved to win. We did try hard until we lost the plot in the last ten.

I was one that rated Mataora over Vaivai, but I might have to change my mind after today, he was great.

Overall an excellent season from the NSW Cup boys ... I wish we'd made the grand final in 2012 or 2013 when we really should have, because we looked a bit overawed today, and I'm sure that experience helped Penrith.

I suppose it's better to get smashed than be beaten on the bell or by a rough call by the ref.

Brennan has done wonders with the lower grades at Penrith.
Pity he did nothing when he was our NYC coach.
We didn't have much luck, but even if we did they would have beaten us.

I thought Brennan did a fair job here with the NYC roster he had here. Was the first coach to ever get us through to a finals series. Definitely has gone to another level down there... he's developed in to an excellent coach.

We needed everything to go our way, and if it did I think it would have been a close game. Unfortunately Dobson missing the game through injury was pretty much the opposite of what we needed.

    How did Pat go today?
I'm hoping to catch the replay to see the big fuss.

Probably good enough to take Gagai's spot come Round 1...

I'm sick of you manager, you're going to base Pat's weekly performances off a match where the team lost 48-12?

That's like basing Gagai's weekly performances off the match against Rabbits where we lost 50-10. Doesn't make much sense does it?

Steady on there. I was asking a simple question.
I didn't see the game, so a report of his performance would be good.
No need to get your undies in a twist.

That's more like it. I guess he defended well and did well in attack in limited opportunities?

Pat kept Kev Naiqama under control mostly - not an easy thing to do (I didn't watch the last 10 or 15 minutes, so sorry if Kev went mental in that time).
Chanel tried to put some aggression into our game. I thought he looked our best back (again, sorry if his wheels fell off at the end)

We weren't up to it today, too much inside passing and Minto's kicking game was hard to watch. But well done to the boys for getting that far and going 9 in a row, still a highly successful year for NSW Cup and Holden Cup. What a legend Matty Hilder is. And I'll be shocked if Vaivai isn't in first grade within the first month next year. If Stone can get him that pumped up every week, we'll be onto a winner.

Hahaha, are you a lawyer by any chance manager? You have a lovely way of wording things so you sound innocent but we all no what you're at.
Carry on sir, I love reading the reactions to a bit of pot stirring

The lads were simply outplayed and on the receiving end of a couple of wrong calls. Don't think any of the NRL squad will be looking over their shoulders.

Man someone must have really done something for Kevin Naiqama. When he was here he was really just a fast player who wasn't that strong or a great runner football wise, just too fast for people to catch with a bit of a step, similar to someone like Reece Robinson. I've only seen the highlights of this game, but some of his touches shown in that were great, he looks like a different player, more powerful with his running, more aware of the players around him & just more confidence. Maybe he's just coming into his prime years & maturing as a player.
