Vaivai is supposed to be a kiwi who was in the Warriors system till recently.

Vai Vai went well but how much of a unit is Korbin Sims? Played around 65 good minutes and looked as if he was playing against boys.

Will Smith and Tom Rouse look the goods too.

It was great to see Bennett in the middle of the rest of the squad in the stands having a laugh with Roberts etc

Ditto Sims and Vaivai - absolutely monstered the dragons.

I wish Chanel Mata'utia played in the no.5 Jersey. I'd so make a sign that read "Chanel No.5"

I really liked the look of the fullback - Kurt Mann?
He had a great game on both sides of the ball................. How old is he & whats his story?

He is from Yepoon Queensland. Was picked up by us last year in 2011 for our SG Ball side and played all year in the halves with Rouse until he broke his jaw. He come back in the GF and had a shocker, but the team won in Golden point.

He is a great player overall. Fullback his better position.

Will Smith has scores 2 tries from charge downs. 23 mins gone 12 - 0 Knights

Also Kurt Mann out for disciplinary reasons. Didn't show up to a physio session apparently

12-0 to Newcastle after 23 minutes thanks to a Will Smith chargedown double.

Almost unheard of!

He's going for the 3 minute mile ... the chargedown hattrick!!!

Smith is having a blinder sets up a try for Api P 22 - 0 Half time. Sims has been sensational. Ball handling has been a bit ordinary from both teams but at least we are only handing it over when in the Sharks half

Cronulla are ordinary as. Can't read too much into this result, I don't think.

It's been a bit scrappy from both sides, I think

Will Smith sets up Api again just after Half time 26 - 0 KTC

You wouldn't mind having Will Smith in your Supercoach side today ... a hattrick and two assists!

That last try he set up was very similar to what Shaun Johnson did last week again Manly ... of course, this was against a much lower quality opposition ... but I'd love Smith to get a chance in first grade, some time.

Unfortunately we can't keep them all. :( Too many good young halves, Roberts, Stig, Smith, Mann, Rouse, Pewhairangi, Sullivan, Morseau..

I'd be nervous if I was Stig or Roberts watching Smith in this game today.

It's one area where we definitely don't need to sign any players from other clubs!

34-0 in a moment, it's been a rort!
